I love this character design for multiple reasons. Just speaking about my personal history with this character and what I think of. McFarlane Toys new Superman Blue.

I loved Energy Superman. It was nice to see something new from Superman.

Yes!!! I just love that this version of Superman brings me back to a very specific point in time of my nerdom. I might go back and pick up that original figure because this figure sparked a lot of memories for me. Glad I’m not the only one!

I always really liked this design, personally. I wouldn't want it to be used all the time, but I still think it's really cool.

I just remember when it came out thinking that it could have been a historical point in comic history. Love the design and where it’s led me in my love for comics

I'm hearing we may be seeing blue and red from mafex very soon. And I agree that the superman symbol should cut deeper but this would surely pose a problem for mafex too then. I guess it will always make more sense to just confine the logo to the upper torso rather than make it more accurate to the source material and break up the symbol with the sculpt.

I never cared about the story but I always liked this version. Maybe because it was the 90s, I was a kid and this was something new.... Also this will be the first 7" Superman for me. Not a fan of Mcfarlane superman faces. So ordered it. Waiting. Hope to find the Red too

I only pick up characters that speak to me and this is definitely one that stood out. Hope you get it in hand you like it!

I actually had the old doll of Superman Blue. I wonder if the hate for that version of the character is one of those things like the Ewoks in Star Wars… where older fans hate them but younger fans don’t. I never had a huge issue with blue supes.

Dude I used to love those. I remember thinking it would actually be worth something. I loved the Warner Bros store in general. I still have four statues from there that I just put back on display. I just remember loving blue Superman because I felt he was the Superman of my era but I guess it didn’t last long 😂 still a fun part of Superman lore
