Not trying to hate or create negativity but man please just sing the song the way we all heard it. That’s the beauty of it. This rushing and shortening of things really disrupts the melody and flow! Beautiful song performed terribly unfortunately.

That is called syncopation in music, most singer-composers do this especially on their most requested songs. They shift the timing and tune to give the song a little refresh, and not the same old tune. Because imagine you composed a song 20yrs ago and that’s still the song the crowd wants you to play most of the time, anyone can grow tired singing the same song for 2 decades.

I HATE WHEN THEY CHANGE THE TEMPO OF A REALLY GREAT SONG.. It was a HIT the way it was....! Songs are hits because they were done perfectly at the recording...
