Jadow I just wanted to say I'm really glad you've come this far. I mean, you've almost got 6000 subscribers! I remember watching you several year back when I was a kid and you were around 100. You got me through some tough times man, and I really appreciate it. Keep up the good work!

I played the PS2 version of the game, and I don't think it had as many glitches as the Gamecube version did in this video...although, that either could be because I don't remember running into any or I just got lucky in my playthrough. However, I do remember that it was kind of a pain to pick up objects from time to time since Superman had to be in one exact position to pick it up. It helps that he automatically positions himself for me at a button prompt, but sometimes it would take him a bit of time to get to that position, which was even more frustrating when you're working against a time limit. I remember one time I tried to get him to pick up a crate and he had to do a complete lap around it before he had to pick it up. Still, I didn't mind the stealth level and the part where you're leading those guards to take back the prison was a pretty memorable moment for me.

At least it's not the Superman Returns game, which apparently features a tornado as a final boss.

8:38 Yeah, no, it held SEVERAL candles, not the least of which being that it had an awesome ending and actually, you know, even had a proper ending to begin with. Also the fact that the series didn't suffer from New show syndrome half as bad as early Batman: TAS. Least Tim Daly stuck with the voice he was going to use throughout and it was always great while Kevin had to spend the first 2 seasons climbing to that greatness.

I love all of the clips from the show! It makes me so nostalgic! That series was my childhood! 😊

Michael Ironside is the greatest voice actor in gaming.

Superman Returns is fairly good fun, at least for being able to fly around Metropolis super fast. However, if you want a game that lets you fly around, destroy cities/the planet (sure you lose but still) and even travel all over the universe, you might want to try Megaton Rainfall on the PS4 and PC. I've not played it, but it looks awesome.

To be fair Superman is a very overpowered hero really the only way, well not the only way but one of the ways you could make a Superman fight viable is by having a bunch of Parasite robots that Superman is forced to fight, after all I'm sure if I did research Kryptonite only exists to be a weakness for Kal-El as to be fair considering most/all comic book worlds have advance tech. there is no reason that John Corben needs to have a Kryptonite heart other then to make a Superman v. Metallo fight visible. I'm just sayin' it's possible that someone can make a Superman game but the best thing to do would just be better then the rest at just ripping off Batman Arkham. Also FYI Anarky is from the comics you should look up Gotham Rouges the KZfaq channel and his "forgotten Batman Villains" there are some interesting specimens I'll chant with you next video to be sure you read my comment though responding to my comment will help me too.

Kevin Michael Richardson could be a decent Darkseid, but his voice sounds like they messed with the audio.

I really enjoyed this game when I played it. It's flawed, sure, but I see this as being a template for a great Superman game someday. Just take what works here and build up from there.

The problem is with supermans powers, he is invunerable, it sounds good, but it makes it very hard to give superman a videogsme because he has no opponant. The only plausable way is the injustice videogames.

I loved this game as a kid and while it is the "best" Superman game, it's still annoying in places. The constant waves of robots attacking you becomes monotonous after awhile. The game needed more outdoor levels so you could fly around more because the flying controls are surprisingly really good. Such a shame that they squandered any potential it had.

Weird Al Yankovic does Darkside?............The fu**? I do agree Arkham Origins was fun, except for the Bane Battle, that was a pain in the ass. But the rest of the game was great. My god, Superman can fly and move good in this game! It's incredible. Almost brings a tear to my eye. A shame that the game still has it's problems, if they could have made the combat better it could have been good.

I could say the exact same thing about Superman in film. No Superman film has ever been really great (even though I liked Man of Steel), unlike a lot of films based on other superheroes (Dark Knight trilogy, anything in MCU, X-Men to name a few).

YEAH BOY ANOTHER PERSON WHO PLAYED SHADOW OF APOKOLIPS. *ahem* It's a damn shame WB can't get a decent Superman game off the ground. He's fundamentally one of the easiest characters to write in pop culture and designing a video game isn't much of a challenge when you embrace the general absurdity when it comes to his stories. Just make a Superman game that goes off the rails; use all his villains (Toyman especially), have him be able to do crazy Silver Age like it's second nature, and give Lex Luthor something to do. Ultimately, like his greatest stories, the real charm of Superman is peering into his soul and seeing his uncompromising love for the people around him; have him do simple things like saving cats from trees and caring for the every man. But that's just my two cents.
