Superman (Christopher Reeve) and Supergirl (Helen Slater) team up to defeat their greatest foes led by Lex Luthor (Gene Hackman) and Selena (Faye Dunaway) in this short film/trailer/fan edit based on the Superman franchise from the 70's/80's. It's a real shame we've never really gotten the traditional Superman-Supergirl bond on screen. They may be cousins, but they're so close they're like siblings. It would be both amazing and EXTREMELY fun to watch. Maybe some day...

Helen Slater was a phenomenal Supergirl! And I really like the nostalgic costume. Much better the the new CW version.

I'm currently writing fan fiction story based on original idea. They had for superman 3. Which in deed had Christopher reeve superman meeting Kara zor el. I think Helen slater was intend to be I introduced as supergirl in that movie

Would have been great to Reeves and Slater on screen together. Today's casting is so bad that even if Supergirl and Superman were on screen together it would be flat
