She's an icon. Tyra was my idol when I was a child, I was a queer boy from a small latin american country and homophobia was my everyday reality but the person who helped me overcome that was Tyra, I will always be grateful to her for what she did for me even though she might never know I exist.

She was an inspiration to many of us. I remember being 20yrs old, going through my first breakup and being depressed and lonely. I was the only girl so I didn't have a sister or a real bestie to talk to so I had to get through it alone and one afternoon I saw Tyra on some daytime show promoting her new book and she talked about a little of everything. I went and got her book and I literally could not put it down. She had a whole chapter about how to bounce back from heartbreak and how to live your best life even when life isn't being so kind to you. I read that book over and over the entire summer and the advice she gave was priceless and helped me get a grasp on my situation and gracefully move on...I've loved her every sense. Tyra will always have my support and a soft spot in my heart. In a sense she was talking to me through her book like the big sister I never had ❤❤❤❤ So glad her influence helped you too 😊

It's time for black women to start a hair revolution by removing the wigs & the weaves...Beyonce in front line ! She starting wearing them since 00's but in the late 90's It's was her real hair. It's time to go back to that !She's THE role model to so many black women all around the world. She doesn't need to wear a messy afro like her little sister but it would be interesting to see her without those spaghettis all over her head. I find it contradicting that Tyra is advocating for female empowerment and businesswomen and saying that the UAE is a great place for this. I don´t know why these countries are getting this sort of publicity when in reality it is quite the opposite.
