Yeah it was a cool move but it was also respectful that no one crashed out. What I also enjoyed was when Jett pulled the same move on Ando. They aren't going to role over and hand it to Jett but at the same time he's willing to make you earn the win aswell. It's a shame it was just 1 corner hopefully we can see a back and forth battle for multiple laps at some stage.

@@Sh1tstir The main was about to get good before Cooper crashed. He was going to put another one of his late race charges on but Anderson was road blocking. Jett was smart enough to pass 21 like the 2 did him and sprint away before he got stuffed. Jett is smart beyond his years.

@jeffcherry1643 I think Webb after round 1 is looking the best probably ever it even looked like he had whoop speed Ando didn't gap through there, it was pretty impressive. Like anything though we won't really get a good idea until maybe round 4-5ish. To many guys that didn't fire Tomac, Roczen, Stewart, Hunter (maybe). But deffently like what I saw from Webb between A1 and Paris is chalk and cheese difference. Ando rode pretty good too.

It's so damn dumb...the only reason they're doing it is because they don't like the kid because he's winning... Those SMX rounds weren't legitimate supercross tracks, especially the first 2 rounds. Even if they were, it wasn't apart of the 17 round AMA supercross series, which is the whole point of the stat... Supercross and SMX aren't the same thing, cause if i remember correctly, Chase was crowned champion months prior to the SMX rounds, wasn't he....? So, Jett hadn't ever raced an AMA supercross 450 main event prior to last weekend, it's quite simple...and I see so many comments about chase beating Jett at the first round of SMX, what's that make Jett, 14 of 15 race wins? Not including Des nations. How terrible 🤣 They're going to hate until Eli or their favorite riders retire...It happened to Ricky when he started beating McGrath, he was hated for quite a few years. The fans turned on James when he moved to the 250/450 class and started beating Ricky in Supercross, and it won't be the last time it happens....and it doesn't matter what the kid does or says, just winning will piss them off, especially if the media mentions it, and they'll look for anything to discredit the kid.

Bro this has been discussed 1 million times. You can't sell shit out the back of your van. You have to pay to have a spot in the merchandise area. Then you can sell shit. And there is multiple ppl doing both so I love how u single out the Lawrence's. Star and tld have the same VIP experience for the same price. And plenty of others book a merchandise spot. Like alpinestars, moto tees, fly, monster etc. I don't think it's that hard to understand you can't sell shit out the back of there van just like I can't take a hotdog stand into the stadium and start selling hotdogs. But if I wanted to become a vendor i can pay to sell my food at the stadium.

As josh said above, anything is possible if you do it in the correct way. Supercross events are privately run events held on private property so Feld has the final say on what is and isn't allowed. The donuts and vip areas have been agreed to by feld and they are rightfully taking a cut of the profits generated. Anyone who has had issues with similar ideas in the past have tried to do things without permission and without cutting feld in on the profits.

SMX isn't actually Supercross.... Both those guys raced multiple 450 main events in AMA supercross on the opposite coast before moving up full time. Jett has never raced an AMA Supercross race on a 450 before last weekend... and If you think those 3 rounds of SMX were actual supercross tracks, especially the first 2 rounds, then I want some of what you're smoking...Even if they were, it wasn't apart of the 17 round supercross series, which is the whole point. And you'll really hate to hear he's the first rider to win both his first 450 outdoor race and first 450 supercross main event in his rookie season.... Ricky won his first ever premiere class outdoor national, which isn't a surprise. Did Kenny, Grant, and Bradshaw win their first ever A1? Yes, they did, which is huge...but that wasnt their first ever 450 main event of their career, they raced multiple rounds the year prior. I get it, you don't like Jett, and that's perfectly fine....but let's be real, that's the only reason you're trying to discredit the kid and act confused about the situation.

We meant that in the standpoint of, you can't expect him to go out and crush it in supercros right off the bat. If he raced Pro Motocross over here, absolutely, he could and should be expected to win right off the bat. But supercross is going to take some time. Just don't want anyone to think he should have done better in his first race.
