Although Superstar has been covered by many different groups over the years, the Carpenters version, released in 1971 off of their album by the same name is the most popular version.

Drum City Bob
DRUMS: Bob is playing a DW Collectors Series Cherry Drum Kit, Ludwig 6.5x14" Superphonic Snare Drum and Zildjian Cymbals. Using Vic Firth 5A sticks. Drums heads are Remo Clear Emperors on the toms, Ambassador Coated on the snare batter head, and Evans heads on the bass drum.
DRUM MIX: Drum mics are Shure SM57 on top and bottom of the snare drum, Sennheiser e600's on the toms and a Shure Beta 52A inside the kick, with a DW Moon Mic on the outside of the kick.
AUDIO: Mixer is a Behringer X Air XR18, Audient Mic Pre-Amp, Logic Pro X. Final drum mix by RTDIII Productions @robspradling
