난 김영근님은 한국 정통발라드 쪽 보다는 크러쉬 같이 힙합쪽 R&B소울 발라더 쪽이 더 어울린다고 생각합니다. 진성도 좋지만 가성으로 가지고 노는게 훨씬 듣기좋다고 생각합니다.

No one should complain really, it’s not his first language. But the funny thing is that he pronounces ”lay by your side” correctly at one point and then he sings ”fy your side” in the chorus. He must have just heard it differently

Ryan Flanagan 11 plus months ago the comments were not about how he sang or sound. It was about how he was pronouncing "by." He sounds like he says "fy" and a lot of people just basically made it into a meme.

although he can hit the notes, he is pronouncing diphthongs which making him sing the song harder. And those can be learned so I can see that he will improve so much. :)

And guys, stop judging his pronunciation! He's a village kid for goodness sake! He's not as privileged as those who went to Hagwons and international schools. The only English lessons he ever had was at school. He prob slept his way through English lessons because the teacher was boring af! I'm obviously bullshitting. Didn't watch the show.
