So what have you all been doing while staying at home, what are some of the things you have been playing? I would love to know in the comments below. Today I bring you a great flashcart for the N64. The ED64 Plus! It is a way for you to play all of the N64 library for about 50 to 70 bucks. No longer do you have to damage your original game carts. You can even play Pal region games on your NTSC! But the big question is how well does it work? Is it worth your money? Stay tuned to find out!

Ed64 is the best. I have it and to have the full experience u need to have expansion pak and memory pak installed . And to save... just save on game and then hold the reset button for like for 10 seconds. It will restart afterwards.. then close the console.

So does the sd card come with a micro sd in it? It's so I can download super mario 64 multiplayer from my moms laptop to my n64 so I can get the good feel again with my brother and I'm 16 I had a n64 when I was 8 so I'm looking for all the n64 stuff and a usually everdrive cost 100 dollars and this one cost 60 and I can afford all of my things in 1

Great video, thanks for uploading this. My N64 is pal, am I thinking correctly that if I wanna play NTSC games I have to own the NTSC console?? My mate has a krikkz everdrive 64 and can play both regions on a pal console.... apologies for a stupid question 😂 Also, am I safe getting one of these from eBay? I'm very tempted!

I can test a pal game later on a ntsc but dont have the other way around sadly but should be the same. I dont think the roms change on device i think you just slide the top switch to pal and your good to go. Unsure if pal and ntsc had different refresh rates on the n64 only problems if any you ahould come into are graphic glitches. Yah ebay is where i got this one i think just buy fom a good seller. Even the chinese sellers are fine. (Most times) its just spend about 15 dollars more to get it quicker or not from a us seller. Totally up to you.

You can play NTSC ROMs on PAL console with this, I do. Plays in 60hz as well. I actually recommend you use NTSC ROMs purely for the 60hz

Question: If you don't want the pre installed ROMS, are you able to install your own ROMS onto a SD card and play em that way?

How do I buy one with the games already on the sd card? I see listings for "preloaded" ed64's, but the box is still sealed. How can it be preloaded if its still sealed?

Lol because its coming from china where rom laws are very lacked. Preloaded means it will have the roms. It's a very grey area honestly.

Sram seems to work just like the original carts that had it. Though you have to press the reset for it to save your data. Seems to work really well thus far

If play the sillicon valley space station with the expansion pack, does it also freeze with the ed 64 plus? or is the bug fixed?

there might be a patched version online. The original cart version running off the ED crashes randomly. see if there is a patch online because the one pre installed is the exact same as the cart version.

Mine did, i did a quick search and found a ton on ebay just put in ed64 and look for ones that say 16gb card included.

@@ValkyrieVewas thank you Ii see those now but they also say roms not included and in now assuming that's for legal reasons but they actually are probably there. I ended up ordering one! I'm not pressed too bad about the rewet button saving in certain games. In fact I own most battery save carts anyway so it's a non issue until my batteries die xD

I mean it looks fine to me, It is running on actual hardware just the flashcart is acting like th real cart. I didn't see any issues. Even the savestate worked when you hit the reset button to save.

Old comment I know, but of course it does. The n64 is running the game exactly as it does from the original cartride. All the ed64 does is allow you to run the games from one cartridge vs having to have each individual cartridge. This is not emulation, its native hardware running the actual software a 1:1 of the original if you will.

I am have having problems saving NES games. For example, I am trying to save my created team in Baseball stars for NES and it asks me to name the save and I do and confirm and then when I load the game back up after hitting reset, the save is gone. What am I doing wrong? I also get the current controller pack is not formatted properly every time I try to save. I format it every time, save the game and the save is gone the next time I play it and the screen comes back that asks me to format. How do I save NES games? I thought I read somewhere that there is a setting that will make the games less blurry and more sharp and modern. Where is that setting? What are some tips and tricks to make full use of it?

Hey I got this from Amazon and my cart just stopped working it would freeze up and I had to return it but they didn't have another one also It would freeze randomly after a week would not suggest you buy it from Amazon

Ebay US seller. To many chinese sellers never ship. Unless they have like over 2000 feedback. Avoid Chinese seller with under 50 feedback.

@@jeremyrozensky8985 I mean I believe the everdrive is quicker. Don't quote me on that but ED64 is seen as the lesser product due to some minor compatibility issues. But IMOP I think you get more bang for buck with the ED

Cant say i have, but honestly dont see why it would. Its just a rom, worst case you just need to replace the rom file. The cart just is a flashcart the system should treat it like orginal. Will give it a look later. What game did they have problems with?

I mean i hear you but keep in mind most everdrives dont have coverart. This is mostly due to you being able to add more games and such.
