A character originally dubbed ‘Deathstroke: The Terminator’, this fan favorite character was first introduced as an assassin who was contracted to take on the New Teen Titans by the evil organization HIVE. As it turned out, this one-eyed mercenary was once Slade Wilson, a legendary soldier from the United States who was a test subject for a secret experiment to create super soldiers. I'm waiting for exactly that. Just it has to be treated more like a nolan film, that kinda quality, but R Rated. Deathstroke is such a great character he'd need proper treatement they'd need to get him and the story 100% right to pull it off. Personally i think Mark Wahlberg would make a good Slade Wilson. Marv Wolfman and George Perez would have to be involved in the creation/story process.

In my opinion, the Deathstroke from the Cartoonetwork show, Teen Titans is the best iteration of this assassin, making him a fan of psychological torture. Even though he couldn't beat all the titans by hi self, his tend to psychologically break his victims gave him a devilishly figure. And after he came back from hell with those supernatural powers, he became one of the most complete villains in the world.

Jadin Mallory **Spoilers** I think this is how it happened from what I remember Slade was fighting Terra when she, in order to save the Titans, used her power and ended up sacrificing herself to kill Slade. He ends up burning in lava until he makes a deal with Raven's father, Trigone, to come back to life and now had awesome demon powers. Although it's been a while since I've seen the show.

Deathstroke is probably the only anti-hero/villain who can Batman a run for his money. I think Deathstroke should've been the main antagonist in The Dark Knight Rises

yeah, but my comment was in reply to yours about deathstroke being the only villain to give batman a run for his money and about him being the main antagonist in dark knight rises .. im simply saying bane is a more iconic/ suitable villain for batman in his standalone film for the reason stated.

Infeel like the person who played bane in dark knight returns, would play a better deathstroke. Bane is a Mexican giant, a lot bigger than Batman. Deathstroke is American so Tom Hardy could play him true to his origins. Also him and Batman are the same size so we could see deathstroke VS Batman.

In this video he seemed more agressive than in Teen Titans, I don't like that. He was always the calm genius villain. Plus, I only know him as "Slade", not as "Deathstroke". All in all, I think the TT version of him was my favorite.

OH ME GUD No. Deathstroke was trained by the military and had several experiments done on him, which increased his agility, intelligence, durability, and strength.

Shadownet Spy maybe there will be more seasons with him along with his brother, Deadpool, who in the Teen Titans perspective would be called Wade, it would also feature the Suicide Squad, Victor Zsasz, Batgirl, the X-men, Cree Lincoln, Father, the Joker, Scarecrow, Batman, and several others, when I'm done with it, it'll get the same treatment Samurai Jack is getting

Deathstroke is by far one of the saddest stories. Slade loses 3 kids and his wife due do his bad decisions. I think the CW show gave him justice.

Actually you're right . In the nineties I remember having an issue of his comic where all the DC superheroes(superman, aquaman, batman, flash etc) come after him and he beats them all ! That made him the most awesome super/anti-hero in my book!

Apparently he was originally gonna be a far more significant part of the game (which is why he's in all the adverts), but they had a deadline to keep, as the whole game was really only created to fill the Batman-media gap in the holidays WB had while Rocksteady started working on a proper sequel to Arkham City for next-gen consoles. That's also probably why there's so many glitches: not enough time to clean them all up before release.

faolan1686 Yep, Deathstroke is the best Arrow's villain so far, 2nd is Merlyn (because he is the greatest Green Arrow's villain in the comics) and 3rd is Ra's Al Ghul (becuase he defeated Oliver in a very brutal way as a FATALITY of Mortal Kombat) in my opinion.

I liked the voice and how he overpowered and outsmarted the titans, but i feel he didn't show enough cockiness and i didn't like his outfit that much. I feel like they still could've stuck to the comics costume with a bit of the metallic armor feel.

His second son Joesph is still alive. He got his vocal cords slit and became mute. Later he found he had powers and became jericho and joined the teen titans. Can't believe they messed up on that.

+Elizabeth Darnell Slade's family is basically too OP. Ravager #1 (dead), Ravager #2 (Rose), Jericho, and Slade himself. The Bat family will be easily get rekt by the Wilson family (except if Dick Grayson has something to say about that, because he rekt Slade as a Teen Titan, when he was the Nightwing, and he was the Batman in the short run. Classic Slade's nemesis).

For so long Deathstroke the Terminator was my favorite villain. Glad they gave this character some justice by putting him in Arkham Origins. And they didn't really disappoint either.

Yeah, but you gotta remember the game's in Batman's favor. Batman is awesome and my favorite DC Hero, but I would really question if he would actually walk out the winner in a 1 on 1 fight with Deathstroke. Then again, you also have to give it to Batman for being a normal human with no genetic enhancements, of course.

One thing you may also not know thats going to ruin your image is in the comics, slade had a sexual relationship with terra and thats how he manipulated her(terra was indeed underaged at this time) so yes he is also now a pedophile.

I thought he was just generic. now, he seems kinda awesome. the funniest thing is that in the comics, he works for HIVE. but, in the cartoon, he hires HIVE's students to work for him. They are completely different characters with a 2 coincidental similarities. I.E 1. Last Name, 2. Occupation. You saying they're related, is like saying Green Arrow is Hawkeye's nephew.

that's correct, then in the early/mid 90's his Joseph (Jericho) became possessed by the corrupted spirits of the place Raven was raised and in a moment of clarity asked his father to kill him to free him which Deathstroke did

His few scenes in Young Justice amazing. Just loved that fight between him and Sports Master. Still cannot understand why that show was canceled. The writing, animation and voice casting were all first class and the fans loved it.

The way kids cartoons work is, you need to be able to sell merchandise. That's why shows like spongebob, fairly oddparents, and adventure time are still on. The y get good ratings and they sell merch like crazy. Young justice did not sell well, and the toy company funding it, didn't see it as worth it.

Nightcast9 The target audience was for teens. Unfortunately, they are not known for crying and making a scene in Wal-Mart if mommy doesn't buy them the latest action figure. I was hoping Young Justice would proceed to 'direct release DVD' land after the show was axed. It seems like a natural fit, in my opinion.

Holy shit. This is crazy. I knew the mask and the name "Slade" sounded familiar. I remember watching him and him being an enemy in an earlier version of Teen Titans. Years later I'm just now putting the pieces together and seeing that this is Deathstroke. Man, this is amazing.

When I was a kid and didn’t really keep up much with comics and their adaptations I didn’t make the connection that Slade from TT was deathstroke and when I did connect it all together I felt as if I could give Batman a run for his money as the worlds greatest detective.

Deathstroke is the whole reason I've gotten into comics. I used to hate comics and super hero's but I always loved Deathstroke. Finally I decided to read one of his comics and fell in love with them. This opened me up to the entire DC Universe and has made me like a ton of characters.

HOLD UP!! I have the original Teen Titans origin of Deathstroke. Joseph was not killed. Slade was not fast enough to keep the kidnappers from cutting his son's larynx, resulting in him losing his voice, but the kid did not die. SEE Jericho from the Teen Titans history. Still thanks for putting this up.

The DeathSkeleton Interesting,I was gonna mention that...if this narrator is going to comic source material at least get it right. Teen Titans was a title series I collected and I loved this story arc. Jericho was mute because of nearly surviving a slit throat,but his powers manifested due to Slade having been experimented on. And it is also important to mention Rose(Ravager).

He's kinda the opposite of Captain America. lol That fight would be so epic. Deathstroke is the ultimate comic character. In every adaptation of him he's a bad ass. Doesn't matter what his origin or motivation is, he's a bad ass. And the only reason he ever gets beat is because the good guy has to win.

Lol Jericho wasn't murdered actually. I can't remember, but I think The Jackal Took out his throat which is why he is mute and has a scarf around his neck all the time. He did come out in Teen Titans but the relationship between him and Slade as usual isn't mentioned.

I always found Death Stroke's portrayal in the Teen Titans anime to be the most interesting. He's so mysterious, enigmatic, and threatening. He's pretty much a completely different character, and seems pretty much unbeatable. I'm not sure why they went with that approach, it doesn't make much sense to me, but at least it was executed well.

they have similar abilities and were both soldiers but the personalities and motives are entirely different. plus deathstroke usually gets shown as a brilliant tactician but a lone wolf while captain america is a team leader

laz kar not even an anti-hero a lot of the time. in several stories he's just a villain or working for a villain. Deathstroke has a very destructive personality. he cares only about being the best and as a result his entire life outside of the mission is a spectacular mess. his kids hate him he has few friends and allies, the mission is literally all he has.

The only incarnation of Deathstroke that felt like more than just a generic super-mercenary type character was him as "Slade" in the 2003 Teen Titans cartoon. He just seemed much more interesting because he was more of the shadowy puppet master influencing things from behind the scenes, yet was still utterly terrifying to fight in person.
