always liked pyro in the movies. Wished they had done the story between him and bobby better in X3. I also wish I knew what his fate is now with the timeline changed. Maybe hell protect senator kelly this time?

Timingchameleon Last I knew, he had actually died from the Legacy virus. But, I think due to an event called Necrosha X, they brought him, and a lot of other heroes and villains back to life. Not 100% sure though, I haven't gotten that far in the comics.

Xenoriddley They did, but for most it was only temporary. And by the end of the story line -- one in which the Black Queen of the Hellfire Club resurrected these dead mutants in order to sacrifice them in a magic ritual that would give her God-like powers -- most of them, including Pyro, returned to their graves.

I always thought Pyro had a unique spin on "fire powers". He actually has the true definition of pyrokinesis. Too bad he was killed off in the comics & another of my favs from the Brotherhood, the Blob was depowered. I hope they both return to form in the comics. I hope to see these two characters in the MCU, but done right this time around.

Blackton Obvious I agree in the MCU I could imagine him repainting the iron man suit and repairing it and stuff and attaching flamethrowers and that be his suit or he makes his own techno suit

Pyro is my favorite Chen villian in the movies. Because his story and transformation was so perfectly played out. Love this character and his on screen verison.

DuShawn Mickens Why not? With Days of Future Past, history has been rewritten. Now the only movies that officially happened are First Class and DoFP. Everything in between was undone so he very well could still be a student at the school.

I think that Pyro would initially humiliate the Torch by turning his own flames against him. Then in a rematch, pyro would discover Johnny Storm's lesser known powers; the ability to Absorb heat! Johnny would snuff out any existing fires by absorbing the heat and stopping them, then, without flaming on, beat the crap out of Pyro with his bare hands. It would be a real twist on his powers....

Has Marvel ever given Pyro the ability to create it? I know in the movies Magneto teases the possibility of helping him achieve that ability, but it never happened. I think it would be a pretty good story arch.

My fav xmen villain. I role played as him when Skyrim first came out. It was my first ES game, and when I found out that I could cast flames...I was so god damn ecstatic.

He also appeared in the first x-men movie, but as a cameo,(played by a different actor). He was the kid who tried to impress rogue, but then got in trouble by storm when bobby froze his fireball.

He is cool but how heavy is it holding a flamethrower on your back It would be so much easier if he could just make the fire and he would not be a rip off of human torch because pyro can’t fly or light his body on fire...does any one else think that saying flame on to activate your powers is kinda weird

His power is just not fire but he controls the fire like really that is so powerful of someone to controls the most powerful objects in the world if you think about it he can burn the hole world if he wants to and he can take all the fire out from are burning building in no time how cool is that l always love Pyro my favorite power tho
