Watching X-Men the Animated series introduced me to the character of Jean Grey because she was the host for the Phoenix Force which made her very powerful.

X-men Evolution Jean was the best, way stronger and leadership like than The Animated Series Jean . I enjoyed Sophie Turner as Jean in the movies. I would rather Sophie than Famke in the New X-men.

@MarvinGuatemalanBoyTBH, it wasn't a full love triangle in XME; Rogue had a crush, but Scott never reciprocated. It's wild to me that they were gonna get together after the phoenix saga.

@@SorceressRose I've been told that. That really sucks, since Jean/Scott is so healthy here and Rogue seemed to have moved on from Scott. Aside from ruining one ship, I think it's a step backwards for Rogue's development--plus they should've used Gambit more.

8:58 Jean is stated and shown to be alive at the end of the film. She appears as a big fiery cosmic bird like in the comics. With all due respect, I'm surprised you didn't mention that.

Thank you for pointing that out.It was initially in the video, but was later cut together with many other things, to make the video a bit shorter. Since it’s the Phoenix Force and not Jean herself, I left that part for the separate Phoenix/Dark Phoenix video that I’m going to make in the future.

Every telling of the phoenix saga beyond x-men tas has been GARBAGE. I really hope we get to see some more phoenix content in ‘97 cause they’ll get it right.
