Can 2D echo detect aortic aneurysm?? I am having supra sternal notch pulsations but my 2D ECHO is normal ..

It can usually be seen by 2D TTE, but sometimes TEE or CT angiography may be required. I hope that helps. Good luck. In thinner patients, noticing a suprasternal pulsation may be normal.

I have prominent pulsation at suprastrenal notch? What could be it due to?

Hard to say. Several possibilities, maybe you're just thin, aortic insufficiency . . . Worth checking in with your physician.

@@pratikshamishra9883 If you haven't already, maybe ask your physician if you should have an echocardiogram. If you've already had one and it's normal, likely a normal variant.
