Finally, the real stuff EDIT: alegnagyobbkiraj is hungarian, his name literally means "The Greatest King", where "A" is "The", "Legnagyobb" is "greatest", and "Király" is "King". This means, that his name would look like this, if it were formatted correctly: "A Legnagyobb Király". He just spelled "Király" with a J instead of "Ly" ( incorrectly), presumably for technical reasons. That's it for your hungarian lesson today kids (and papa Gyle).

I feel that this game is about combat. It is about digging deep and making it happen when it wasn't supposed to be happening. Anything less... is just unbecoming of a Supreme Commander.

I play some team based games and this game seems pretty fricking toxic in terms of how team players treat each other. It makes me curious to know how a super cohesive group of people who properly supported each other would do in this game.

How come the triple artillery didnt go after the Novax centers? I feel like taking those out of the game would have really helped the way they were depleting shields all over the place.

I set the video to play in the background while I do something else since I don't have time to watch it right when it comes out. I think that helps with the algorithm the most.

The players stayed and fought to the bitter end at least. Great gamesmanship ! In most other RTS games team games are always filled with ragequits the moment things get a little bit disadvantaged and suddenly its 1 v 3

Actually there are some japanese players on the FAF client. But not a whole lot. Tbh, not sure if it is an attractive game for japanese players. Most of them really stick to JRPG and shmups.

The community got super butt-hurt when he casted something that wasn't supcom. His League cast was super good. He could have potentially exposed a number of league players to faf, but the community are children and flamed him for making the cast.

@@outsourcedsanity I just watched a few minutes here or there of it. I think Gyle is even specially suited towards a game like league where there's usually at least three distinct areas of action. I might be down to see more at some point but the climate and saturation of League content at this point might hurt the ol' algo

Two things I've learned playing SupCom over the years. Build your own SMD and don't rely on teammates for it if you can help, and build your own scouts.

Probably about to buy the game from watching these streams, just wondering, do you need supreme commander 1 or is forged alliance standalone? How are the single player campaigns for either? I used to play the hell out of TA's campaign but never really touched the multiplayer.

All you need is supreme commander forged alliance to play multiplayer. But both supreme commander 1 and supreme commander FA have their own campaigns.

Finaly joined FAF after playing with my friends and I built a scathis expecting it to be like the console I'm used to and it ended the game early because some mong decided to give mobile rapid fire artillery infinite range

The opponents had their SMDs ready. He would just have wasted the nukes. He was waitiing for an opening probably, in case one of the SMDs goes down.

@@Avalyahful could've made some huge power plays with nuclear PD strats when the first expes came around. Theres only real good players that manage to think more creatively than "center of the enemy base" with nukes, it's sad.

I noticed for some time now the toxicity not just in the game itself while it's being played, but also in the comments. The FAF community ought to be more friendly and welcoming if they're to get new players into the game. At the end of the day, it is still just a game- a more than a decade old game no less.
