Dear Divyanshi, Sorry to correct but there no word like Double malt. Single malt word is the only given to whiskey produced in Scotland using barley ,yeast and water fermentation.matured in oak or similar sherry barrels for minimum of three years. Could be single cask or quarter cask. Is either peaty of fruity depending on the different regions of Scotland. Thank you .God bless you .
