Surah Abasa Fatih Seferagic, this was recited on the last day of Taraweeh, in the East London Mosque.

I was there that day praying behind him. Before he started the prayer, he mentioned how a friend of his was shot back in the states, if I remember correctly. He then went on to lead this prayer with so much passion.

'Abasa wa tawallaa. An jaa-ahul 'a-maa Wa maa yudreeka la'allahu yaz zakkaa. Au yaz zak karu fatanfa 'ahuz zikraa. Amma manis taghnaa Fa-anta lahu tasaddaa Wa ma 'alaika allaa yaz zakka. Wa amma man jaa-aka yas'a Wahuwa yakhshaa, Fa-anta 'anhu talah haa. Kalla innaha tazkirah Faman shaa a zakarah Fi suhufim mukar rama, Marfoo'atim mutah hara, Bi'aidee safara Kiraamim bararah. Qutilal-insanu maa akfarah. Min aiyyi shai-in Khalaq Min nutfatin khalaqahoo faqaddarah. Thummas sabeela yas-sarah Thumma amatahu fa-aqbarah Thumma iza shaa-a ansharah Kalla lamma yaqdi maa amarah. Falyanzuril insanu ilaa ta-amih Anna sabab nalmaa-a sabba. Thumma sha qaqnal-arda shaqqa. Fa ambatna feeha habba Wa 'inabaw-wa qadba Wa zaitoonaw wanakh la' Wa hadaa-iqa ghulba Wa faki hataw-wa abba. Mata'al-lakum wa li-an'amikum. Faiza jaa-atis saakhah. Yauma yafir-rul mar-u min akheeh Wa ummihee wa abeeh Wa sahi batihee wa baneeh. Likul limri-im-minuhm yaumaa-izin shaa nuy-yughneeh Wujoo huny-yauma-izim-musfira; Dahi katum mustab shirah Wa wujoohuy yauma-izin 'alaiha ghabar a Tarhaquha qatarah. Ulaa-ika humul-kafa ratul-fajarah.

i recently started hifz . With allahs help i memorised almost 4 juz. Im 12 years old and i need inspiration to make me carry on what i really would like is a beautiful voice like this so pleases make dua for me.

MashaAllah that is amazing, 4 juzz at 12 years old! Never give up, at times you will feel there is too much stuff to memorise, especially during revision. But dont let it go, do not take long breaks in revision or it will start going away slowly. Your inspiration should be Jannah, as those who have memorised will be told to read in front of Allah on the day of Judgement, and with ever verse you will be raised a rank until you stop reciting. Your parents shall wear crowns on the day of judgement, what an honour for them and you, you should memorise and teach others, how beautiful would it be to teach your own kids, nephews and neices the Quran! Then to lead salah, be an imam for the people InshaAllah. InshaAllah you are given a beauitful voice and more importantly good Tajweed and implementation of the Quran. May Allah grant you all those things, ameen!

Keep started my young sister/brother, it will be hard at first but dont worry it will get much easier after than first surah memorised and lot more fun! Make sure you have someone to recite to at least so you know your memorisation is correct! May Allah increase your memory and knowlegde and allow you to do it easily!

‎وَفَاكِهَةً وَأَبًّا And fruits and herbage ‎مَّتَاعًا لَّكُمْ وَلِأَنْعَامِكُمْ A provision for you and for your cattle. ‎فَإِذَا جَاءَتِ الصَّاخَّةُ But when the deafening cry comes, ‎يَوْمَ يَفِرُّ الْمَرْءُ مِنْ أَخِيهِ The day on which a man shall fly from his brother, ‎وَأُمِّهِ وَأَبِيهِ And his mother and his father, ‎وَصَاحِبَتِهِ وَبَنِيهِ And his spouse and his son-- ‎لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ مِّنْهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ شَأْنٌ يُغْنِيهِ Every man of them shall on that day have an affair which will occupy him. ‎وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ مُّسْفِرَةٌ (Many) faces on that day shall be bright, ‎ضَاحِكَةٌ مُّسْتَبْشِرَةٌ Laughing, joyous. ‎وَوُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَلَيْهَا غَبَرَةٌ And (many) faces on that day, on them shall be dust, ‎تَرْهَقُهَا قَتَرَةٌ Darkness shall cover them. ‎أُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْكَفَرَةُ الْفَجَرَةُ These are they who are unbelievers, the wicked.
