Surah Al-Ikhlas (سوره اخلاص) is the 112th chapter (sūrah) of the Quran and is one of the most important chapters of the Quran it consists of four verses. It focuses on the oneness and unity of God and that everything and everyone needs Him for their existence and their needs. Surah Ikhlas describes God as not having any partners, not in His essence, or in His attributes and nor in His actions.
It is believed that this Surah was revealed during the Quraysh conflict with Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) when they challenged the distinguishing attributes of the God worshipped by the Prophet. As it exclusively focuses on Tawheed (the indisputable concept of monotheism and the oneness of god).
