Sure-Grip Stardust Roller Skate Review

I had a hard time finding reviews on skates regarding the sizing and the over-all fit. most videos are just unboxing videos with nothing helpful regarding size.
Here I will be going over why I wanted to start skating, my first impression of the skates, how they preform, and my final thoughts. Hope this helps anyone who is looking to buy these skates :)
Also if anyone has any other questions that I may have forgotten to mention, please feel free to leave a comment! I am more then willing to help ya out :)
Foot size: 10 in women. Width: 10cm. Length: 27cm.

Also if this can help anyone- I bought the same skates (diff color) and I’m a woman’s 6.5-7, and bought a size 6 and they fit PERFECTLY!

Hello! Could you plase tell me if you bought a woman's 6 or a man's 6? Because I wear the same size as you (woman's 7, sometimes 6.5) and I don't know what size I should buy.

Hey, I'm new to roller skating but from the research I've done you're much better off with these Sure-grips than any Impalas, no matter hot stunning the rose gold ones are. Apparently, impalas scuff very easily and it's common for the heel to come off after a month or two.

I used to be a great rollerblader (for a kid). Got some this year for the first time in 20 or more years and it apparently is *not* like riding a bike. I need some fences.

I just bought these (also in a 9) and kind of having immediate buyers remorse. I too wanted a pair of impalas, but also looked for candi girl, chaya, and moxi beach bunny. But there is nothing anywhere other than ebay for double retail value. I had no idea roller skating went viral during the pandemic and now there is an international shortage. I checked my foot measurement for the others and needed a 9, but forgot to check with suregrip before purchasing (because it was only size available and I was excited to find SOMETHING). I'm a women's 10 but not like a snug 10. On their chart an 8 may have been a better option.

Millie Gem yeah i kinda wish i waited for the impalas. When i bought these in may these were honestly the only pair i could find in my size! And i would have saved so much money lol

Only reason I bought these was because it's all I could find after a week of searching, and I wanted to teach my girls how to rollerskate to keep them active despite distance learning and no playdates. They're young, so showing is easier than telling. Your video was really informative, and I'm glad I ordered some toe guards because of it.

Millie Gem i’m really glad i could help😊 i wish i was taught rollerskating when i was younger! I learnt how to ice skate, but roller skating is totally different.

As far as price point, I actually felt these were a little bargain after hearing how long the cheaper ones, i.e. impala actually last. Id be sad to get the impalas and them last a few short months.

I bought these too, been using them for 2 months....I hate them... skating more than an hour will leave bruises and blisters from your toes to your heels. The boot is not padded and so uncomfortable, I am waiting on Moxys, wish I just spent the extra $ and bought those first.

Yeah the vinyl can be pretty stiff, i wish they had at least some light padding inside the skate :/

These made my feet bleed, I tried for months to break them in and I eventually gave up. If you are tender footed, aka get blisters easily beware of these!

Alexis Robinson this didn’t happen to me, but that’s good to be aware of! 🙂 i like how other people share their experiences with these skates in my comments! I could only talk about how i feel about them, but knowing how others feel about is great! That way people who want to buy these can really get a good idea of what these skates are like 😊

Awesome!! What colour did you get?! Also a friendly reminder to watch out for your wheels touching! I was so use to figure skates and how the boots can touch, but on roller skates the wheels stick out further than the boot! And i fell a few times lol 😊

I looked up the figure skate hooks that you metioned ( I was also a figure skater for 4 years ) and if you look on websites under the search "figure skate eyelet hooks replacements" I found some so you could try that or I found you could go to a skate shop - I found one for figure skaters called sliduserviss.lv that replaced hooks and eyelets which I assume they can do for roller skates but I didn't check. I am also getting these skates in July :) Thanks for the review, It's so hard to find anybody who reviewed these skates

Krystin Thomas-Shell i haven’t :( i even went to a sports store and asked one of the workers in the skating department and he said that he never heard of them before 😑. And i was like “so if a figure skater breaks one, they have to buy new skates!?” And he was like yeah...” but i’m still going to look :)

@@juliannavelazquez4400 I bought them from a company in australia called rollerfit but I think they are also in stock in a company called skatescool but they are australian companies so if you don't live there the shipping fees could be expensive :( but if you really want them or are in australia then you could try those two stores.

Boss Cat there weren’t many videos on this particular pair of skates when i wanted to buy them a few months ago. So i just wanted to make a video for anyone else who had similar questions about these sure-grip skates :)
