Been decades since I was fishing those locales. I miss it a lot. Fishing up here on the Central Coast sucks...clean water, no crowds, no fish worth eating.

Question: new to fishing but I think I recognize your rig set up…. Is that a “Carolina rig”? Where the weight is above the bait/hook at the end? Is this best for surf? Vs a “drop shot” set up?

Yes with gulp sand worms or when water warm real sand crab are the best
