Nice setup. Several ideas I can use especially that sand free mat. Puffer fish are one of the best tasting fish. We sold them in the 1960's as sugar fish until a huge commercial fishing boat wiped out the fishery in Chesapeake Bay. At least that's the story we were told.

Nice $$$ set up. One thing your rear license tag is not visible and you'll get pulled over and tickets. So while on the road way you may want it attached to the rear cart / Hitch . Also on national parks you can't camp or sleep on the beach. I knew two guys napping and a ranger got them for that . How do you like living in Maryland ? I live in Southern Maryland and we can meet to fish in the spring .Potomac/Patuxent river area if you like .

Can’t wait for the new Tundra. Had a 2016 TRD Pro. The Crewmax back seats were huge and the rear power window was cool. Hopefully they make stock roof rack mounting points like the other Toyota trucks have. Nice setup and equipment. Tight lines.

Nice rig. The reason we run a beach basket on the front of our truck bad weather. you can pull up to the beach put some bate in the water and sit in your truck or set in a chair and fish. I will send you a pic on IG. Nice rig. I know you saw that when you went down to the point in Buxton.

Nice set up brother love toyotas I have a 1st gen 4runner. But for sand driving u may want to grab some all terrain tires. Some bfgs ko2 and always lower your psi in the sad cuz being stuck in the sad alone sucks. Also get some Maxx tracks

Yea, I thought about it. Just don’t need it. I mostly drive paved roads 95 percent of the time, so that’s why I didn’t do the lift or tires. Maybe I’ll do some cool wheels. But most likely not. We will see!

Firestone highway tires is the way to go they have nice look if u do grab rims but a set of maxx tracks will help if u ever get stuck in the sand. Nice set up aswell

Hey skipper! Love your videos.... look up how to clean a puffer fish ! A local obx guy taught me how. He called it chicken off the sea cause it looks like 2 chicken tenders. Cut on the backside of the head. Then you can literally flip it inside out and grab the meat out! Super easy to clean and a beautiful piece of meat! Get yourself a conventional heaver setup... I was intimidated as well but after switching over its well worth it! You gain alot of casting distance! TIGHT LINES!

@@HeySkipper i would get a custom rainshadow 1508 or 1509. I got mine from Greg's bait shack in portsmouth. 289 best price I've found for a new custom heaver. I put a diawa slosh (sl30sh) on mine it was less than 120 bucks . It's the og classic reel that most of the drum fisherman have it's known to work !best bang for your buck. If you wanna spend a little more I would say the penn fathom 2 15 casting special. It has all the fancy magnets and beautiful ! I saw an event on Facebook where you can try different heavers to see what you like just bring your reel ! Whatever you choose support your local tackle shop or local rod builder! Or you could always find a custom combo on fb marketplace for a fraction of the cost.... good luck and let me know if I can help!

You have to put the moon walker which I also have on the front of truck hitch and then never gets in way and can open you truck from rear when ever you like Also mostly have rods holder in front of vehicle for when your on the beach fishing and can quickly rest it in front rather than loading it up on top or were ever else you would leave them . Not for traveling ever !

This is all what man needs during camping, but still I suggest you to have a poly cotton tent, it's cool in Sommer and warm in winter, in Europe there is a brand called Oberlink, and here you can find imazing things for your camping. Beautiful truck 💪👍🏼

Glad I read your description. My brain was saying “he’s catching fish that are in Florida but Florida doesn’t have beaches that would like that. It looks more like a California beach. Big chunks of dirt instead of beautiful white sand.” LOL.

How’s the truck frame holding up? Toyota is is known for rusty frames...If you haven’t protected it yet..Try using a Couple cans of “fluid film” 1x year...It will protect the frame from the elements...Love y’all’s channel! Tight lines!
