Surface / concrete cleaner (Briggs stratton, Simpson, ez clean, etc)

Fixing the non spinning arms on a Briggs stratton surface cleaner, problem is due to lack of lubrication in the center piece, this center piece has nylon washers that wear out quickly because of the heat and lack of lubrication. Link to the nylon washers is down below:

Nice job explaining. In my experience, once these surface cleaners start leaking from underneath the cleaner at the center because of failed parts I found it impossible to get the right parts to fit. The manufacturer I believe is not going to give you the option to repair because they want you to keep buying their product.

Lubrication is your friend. Sometimes your jets can get out of alignment so you have to adjust them and then it will work properly. Lubrication is key though. Lubricate the washers also.

Thanks for this video. Did you also lube the 2 stainless washers? I wonder if they are a part of the problem, too. I will do what you say, and I will bend the arms just a tiny bit more to make the spin better.

Have one in my garage. Cleaned my deck for about 3 hours, did a good job. Never ran again. Have an almost identical Ryobi in my garage. Used it once to clean my deck again once. It still run!. So I spent $60 for my 1st one and $95 for my second one for a total cost $155. Can’t believe they continue to sell this design, where’s the lawsuit?

I been through 2 of these things they are junk they work for a little while then they slow down and barely turn its a bad design. The company should have put a sealed barring inside instead of the plastic washer that gets hot and slows the thing down making it useless.
