Surface Grinder Setup

This video is a collection of clips about setting up the Harig Super 612 surface grinder. Includes machining an adapter to mount a light, debugging the lube system, re-installing the table and cable drive, getting power to the right location and rewiring the grinder.

Good call flipping that thing around. A rubber flap covering those outlets would have saved your bacon. I do a ton of bronze work and got a big surprise when the dust shorted an open plug. KAPOW! Not pretty!

Was there a reason you choose a Vfd over other phase converters? I just got a surface grinder a couple weeks ago and I'm running myn on a static phase converter
