11 ай бұрынScoring a glassy sand-sucker slab that only lasted a few hours with Blair Conklin and also a little POV of the action. Straight from that we headed to the East Coast for a strike mission with Johnny Redmond, Ricky Miller and more! POV of the Ferry wave until we got shut down (we found out is now illegal to surf) haha. One and done! Also a quick strike session in the OBX for some shorebreak tubulations! Hope you enjoy!

I literally saw Aliso daily for decades up till '80 when i moved to the Big Island. The rideable days were very few probably due to the pier. I'm stoked for the new crew!

Lol I love whenever I meet someone and they’re like wow you surf? I didn’t know there was any waves in NC lol you have to smile every time and say yeah we get a little you know nothing too crazy haha then they really freak out whenever they realize you’re taking the piss and understand it’s more than a few ripples

I saw NC from Corolla to Rodanthe and found it pretty sharky, with 6-8 second wave periods and a water temperature which went from 60-70 in one week in early June. I'd stick with Aliso Beach for surf. I loved sharing the water with one or two other surfers: but it was a hell of a work out with few rewards on the Outer Banks.

Nothing compares to 1000 Steps Beach with 20 foot waves. Army Corps of Engineers have experience there.
