Surfside is built on the site where Wet n Wild used to be and you used to be able to waterski on the lake. You were pulled by a big cable

@@Phillgtravel do you have a car we’ll be there 3 nights probably no car but want to get to universal, restaurants, maybe Disney studios if you know of buses.

@jackiebrown3818 I don't drive. We take Uber to Disney Springs or parks. Universal, the hotel has a free bus from morning to night . I run a Facebook group where 1 of the admin has shared how to get buses to Disney World.

I didn't know there's an exit directly to international Dr. on the other side of the garage. That's pretty convenient. I've stayed on dockside multiple times, but there was no access to the restaurants on international dr.

Just found your videos, such great info! We just booked for next year after many stays at the Deluxe hotels but their prices are crazy next year! We are a couple in our 60s and like peace and quiet, which tower and floor would you recommend at Surfside? We are normally up and out early , what time is the first bus usually? Also, will they give me a kettle / coffeemaker if there isn’t one in the room, will I be able to buy a cheap one at Walgreens? Thanks so much!

Hi thanks for watching. I say if you want quiet maybe Tower one. If you want near to I.drive I think it Tower 2. Do you have a standard room or a suite? All rooms will have a coffee maker. If not you can get a uber to Walmart Turkey lake road it about 8min drive where you can get cheap kettle and toaster. I say ask for a high floor. I think the busses to City Walk start either 7 or 8am . Thanks so much! Just in a standard room as just two of us. In some vlogs there isn’t a coffee maker in the standard rooms. Was hoping I might just be able to pick a kettle up at Walgreens though. I’ve somehow managed to delete your reply but really appreciate it!
