This roundhouse cutback was on the inside bowl section at Ponta Pequina, many years ago now. A great place.

Parabéns pelo video pessoal, ja deixei o meu like! Tenho uma dúvida. É seguro surfar em Madeira pra quem ainda não está acustumado? Porque pelo que observei até nas praias de areia tem umas pedras grandes no meio do mar. Ai fico com medo de bater numa predra dessa e de ter pedras grandes em baixo d'água, entende. Como que vocês fazem com relação a isso?

Much easier to get around these days now that the express way has been built. It used to take hours to get to Jardim from Funchal back in the early 80's

Terra do meu pai. E o Rodolfo conheço-o desde a minha juventude. Chegamos a ir a um campeonato de surf em Ribeira de Ilhas, em, 1990. Tempo de Tom Curren, Tom Carroll, Barton Linch.

Que bom. Foi em Ribeira e tal em 1981 e de novo em 1986. Quase vazio naquele tempo. Visitei o Portgal em 2018 tambem, mas nao surfar. Amo Portugal mas sou da Nova Zelandia. Obrigado.

William Finnegan in his book "Barbarian Days:A surfing Life" wrote while living and surfing in Madeira, described an excellent big wave spot that was effected by a road bulit on the shore. What surf spot was that?
