Also the Quad Secondaries the Americans (And Brits IIRC) have access to are literally the Quad 40mm Bofors guns. They are exactly what the US and, to a lesser extent the UK would use on their ships during the war.

A lot of the American cruisers adopted the 3x3 turret configuration, in fact, i think most American ships adopted the 3x3 config, the one cruiser style that deviated from this was the Cleveland class with the 6x2 5inch guns .. when they modernized her, they gave her all dual purpose guns for AA fleet escort .. basically provided the same AA as 2 to 3 destroyers.

The Americans would actually use High Capacity HE shells over Base Fuse shells. Better for shore bombardment. Ryan at BB New Jersey talks about this a few times.

That large torpedo warship is the best thing ive ever seen. Its 100% something the chinese would have done seeing japanese plans for a cruiser.

The Italian towers just got changed so the biggest ones can use the triple 12" now. Unfortunately that breaks existing designs so you'll need to rebuild Julio Cesare. While you're at that, can you check the flash fire chance? It might be worth putting the rear turret on a barbette to make it a little bit safer. BTW, I think those funnels with a barbette attached to them are meant to go behind the secondary tower, they fit quite neatly between the boats on the Aux Towers.

Funny that, the IRL De Ruyter was built in 1935 not 1925. Additionally, her guns were mounted in three twin + one single turrets, with iirc the single turret located in the B position. The new Austrian 6 inch gun models look like the Dutch guns too.

I have made some rather unique ship designs honestly I am a big fan of using 13 inch guns on my designs have experimented and enjoyed them the most for better reload rate good overall performance and lower costs my designs were getting so expensive I nearly bankrupted the UK in a 3 way war.

Astro Hungarian Thick boys just scream 4 Quad turrets 4 Quad 8"55 4 Quad 12"50 , wide, shallow & long with rows of Quad 3" down the sides I mean like all their ports are in small/ narrow seas & Rivers 'rapid fire' Coastal 'Defense' ships They would own the sea to the tip of Italy's heel. the upgrades to 40s tech, equal to a Des Moines or Alaska gun for gun, but *16 guns, & ALL the Auto-loading 3" for AA/Anti-Torp boat...

@@BrotherMunroOne of the few ships you can mount superduper firing battleship (of an earlier generation) guns on in both directions, but yeah. Very ugly.
