We had no plans for New Years Eve 2024, so we went to Universal Studios Hollywood to meet characters we never had before! So many film characters we love were out, like Doc Brown from Back to the Future! We just had fun day relaxing into the New Year , and hope you join us too Flight Crew!

My dad just had a hip replacement so I stayed home with him and watched the ball drop on TV. My resolution is to get my dad healthy so I can have a life again.....Don't tell him I said that. 🤣So glad to see you out and about. Alice is beautiful! Happy New Year! I miss you both and so excited to see you all with Baby Alice. I didn’t do much for New Years besides comfort our dog and passing out before midnight. My main goal is to find a job, travel more ( at-least one vacation) , and just go outside more and walk. Here’s to a great 2024. ✨

Welcome back yet again! Glad to see you all! Little Alice is getting even more cute 🥰! Drac’s advice is so true! 2024 resolution was going to be to get to Disneyland but with Haunted Mansion being down soon for refurbishment we’ll likely delay that until 2025. A Scotland trip is high on our list after our youngest’s wedding in July.

As I have done for the past 23 years, do nothing for New Years. In fact, this time I spent a great deal of futile energy trying to avoid 2024, but here we are anyway. Personally, Universal Studios is on my list of parks to avoid at all costs, like Six Flags. All other parks are fair game. While I can't stand Disney, I love Star Wars, so I have to be tolerant of Disney because that is where Batuu is. (Although I have never been to Galaxy's Edge and likely never will). I was saddened to hear that the Star Wars hotel experience shut down. I loved the videos you did there and dreamed of experiencing it myself even though that was never going to happen (not only can't I afford it, but I can't fly either). The reason it did not make though I feel is due to the pricing, I knew it would be a problem from the start. So much for 2023 in all that though. The little one (Alice) is a Star Wars baby, I'm sure she was thinking: "what is all this with the van and other characters"? I don't know know what all this Universal Studios stuff is, but I know what Lightsabers, X-wings, Jedi, Landspeeders, etc. are"!
