Sorry but the judges don't need to hear about your sob story, especially just when they're about to judge you. Their job is to judge only what you're able to out on the table. End of story.

It's for the drama. I believe the producers ask the judges to prompt the stories and for the contestants to sometimes re-explain their stories mainly for the benefit of the viewer who came in at episode 4 and don't know this person's backstory. So, honestly don't pay it too much attention.

She's really not as bad as everyone exagerrates when you actually watch this series as a whole. People are way too tough on Thea and have a go at her for basically being human and struggling with confidence and anxiety.
