If one was announcing an engagement, maybe. But birthday isn't that big a thing - there's not really much thunder to steal when a birthday is really only about getting presents and seeing family ... and any mature person isn't likely to dwell on the implications of the "aging" part of it. You're not gonna feel upset just because people aren't paying attention to you "getting stuff" - and the "catching up with family" side of it is really actually fulfilled best with receiving such news.

In regards to what you said, I am very pro-choice. I believe that sometimes an abortion is more appropriate than keeping a baby. But, if you have had 4 abortions I think you should make some better decisions for yourself. There are things out there called birth control pills and condoms, maybe you should use one. Either that or keep your legs closed, because it's nothing to brag about. You also can't say that just because she is pretty she shouldn't have a child, maybe this is what she wanted.
