Use a File to sharpen your axe even a grinder heats up the tip so it takes the hardness out of the axe. A file is the best and simplest way..

If you use sharpeners that are powered majority of home use sharperners anyway you would have to intentionally grind a spot for a while before that would even be a thing LMAO it's not like using a shop grinder ... 😂 I use to be terrified of electrics grinders for the same reasons you stated but anything designed for indoor use is not usually setup to generate that friction or heat buildup... Heavy grinding like axe heads or tool work is usually on a grinder that generates alot of heat if not done carefully

Sorry that's NOT THE RIGHT way to use a stone you go the length of the stone so it wears evenlyif you don't it will wreak it

I just rub it on stone, any stone in a curved fashion. No need for all the ballawa.

Źle, tak się nie rąbie patyków, nie kładzie się na pniaku. Siekiera pod kątem, patyk trzymać pod kątem i rąbiemy na brzegu pniaka.
