Malbok is one of three heatwave days in Korea, where it is tradition to eat hot chicken soup to stay healthy and full of nutrients. Our chef at Compton surprised Hwang Hee-Chan with a special soup, cooked to a traditional recipe so he could enjoy the festivities far from home.

I'm South Korean & this was a very wholesome video lol. I loved it! Food from home country can bring a wealth of joy for people who are away from their motherland. I wish Hee-chan thanked the chef some more because i would have been amazed at such thoughtful dish! I'm sure the language barrier kept from expressing his true gratitude in the moment. Thank you for taking care of Hwang Hee-chan, & it is no wonder why love like this is yielding solid performance so far from Hee-chan during this 2023-24 season.

Thanku vm Wolves for making him a genuine Dak-baek-sook! This cuisine requires several hours with lots of healthy spices in it, so it is deemed a very nice food for empowerment! This Korean food would have consoled Heechan. Hope 'our Korean guy' performs well further consistently ❤
