Congratulations Braden. I can remember when i was your age and I got my AZ [Canadian CDL equivalent]. Suuuuuper excited. The very first truck I got to drive with a license was a 1984 Mack R600, 350 power w/a 6 spd hauling 135k#'s logs to the paper mill.

Love your channel. My great uncles drove trucks out of Kansas City during 1960’s and 1970’s. That Peterbuilt is sweet. I love when you rescue the old trucks. The Scandia is cool too. I got a chance to test drive a MAN tractor in Germany in 1988-89.

I got my class A at 18 and its intrastate only ( meaning you can only drive in the state you got licensed in ) until youre 21 ..... so take that as you may

How did he manage to get his license with a trailer when he can’t drive just the truck? I know what the tests require drivers to perform or at least use to perform during the driving test and that would have been an immediate fail. Do they even require drivers to perform a reverse parallel park with truck and trailer no further than 8 inches away from the curb without hitting the curb?
