Cooking has always been a big part of my videos and my life since way before I ever started this channel. My attention to preparing wild food is what won me season 3 of HISTORY’s Alone as I was able to squeeze out as much nutrition as possible from every fish catch with my fish head soup. My early cooks were mostly focused on getting as much out of every catch as possible, stewing the meat I harvested or the vegetables I gathered in water with just some salt and pepper or roasting it whole over an open fire. But my palette grew, as did my mental recipe book, and over the years my catch & cook meals took on a life of their own!

Watching this just makes me sad cause I used to love your content so much. Now its just commercialized and over hyped. Im not naive and I get that content creators and artists change over time, I just wish it wasnt that way. Maybe someday you will surprise us all and do another 30 days or something 🙏

I actually learned allot from watching the catch and cooks on the Texas survival challenge. For me. The best ones are the ones you can create without a store in a situation of off grid self sufficiency. The more post apocalyptic, the better. Cause that’s where we’re headed…🐸🍺🔪🔥

Between Greg, Amos and Fowler; you just can’t go wrong with the ins outs and the know how of ALL things outdoors survival! Much respect for these guys and there’s countless hours of content to keep you entertained. Loving it... gonna try some preparations. Try to make "Curanto" or "Disco Curanto"... is a great way to prepare food in the wilderness. Its a south chilean dish
