I own a 1966 pup tent that I bought NOS from a dealer who got it from the US government back in 1986. ! It's a serious bit of kit !! Can't wait to get it broken in on my 2024 camping trip ! Great video by the way !!✌

Love these pup tents. I bought a set up back in 2008 for around $25 US. I was in the USMC mid 1990s peacetime and we were still using them :)

You're missing the 2 ropes that go from the top of the poles to the ground.

I absolutely love mine. Great tough lil tent for 2 . I built a 40 Cal ammo can stove fore mine, waiting to get money to build myself a nice stove jack..

Nice tent I had one years ago I really liked it I'd set it up like two lean tos with a small fire in the middle I lost it in a move thanks for the video

Well those arent $30 here north of the 39th but I did score one of the Polish versions for $35 CAD that Im pretty happy with.
