Genuinely one of the most underrated Hardcore videos. You aren't an exact copy of sandiction, like so many others, and you can actually build, unlike so man others. You sit atop a hill with Philza and sandiction.

For those who prefer older versions of the game (before 1.18), I've stumbled upon a neat seed for this type of challenge: -8076144184013618067 You're spawned on a group of tiny islands. You have exactly 2 oak trees, a few stalks of sugarcane, a bit of dirt and piles of sand (I was also lucky to get a sheep and a chicken to spawn on day 5 or so). There's also a shipwreck right near the "tree island" and 2 treasures buried around. A village less than a 1k blocks away and an ocean monument on your way there. Your part of the ocean is surrounded with most of the main biomes, so you can get all of the wood and dye types pretty early if you really want to. The dry caves underneath the islands provide enough lava for portals and smelting. Basically, this seed is as hard as you want it to be, and, in my case, it really encouraged me to experiment with my building style, since I've never had so little space to work with. I'm planning on adding raft "islands" once I have enough wood 😁 Props for taking on this challenge and thank you for encouraging me to do it to😊

Wandering traders drink invis potions at the beginning of the night (and milk at daybreak) to stay hidden from hostile mobs. So you didn't experience a glitch or anything, just a neat bit of in-game lore. I suspect it could also be to show players that mechanic, like with the igloo and villager curing.

You kind of ignored the whole “survival island” thing when you left the island.

You can definitively grow nether trees in the over world. You have to bone meal Nylum.

Love how you go to the nether to get levels when you made a perfectly good mob farm.

Cool premise, but way too easy. Maybe someone should create a mod that makes the survival aspect more difficult (and thus more interesting) by removing fish as an option. The cave also needs to be moved further away, or at least away from the island. And last but not least, swimming should consume stamina faster. Try to survive this, I think this could be a really cool challenge as you rely on monster drops to survive.

I'm gonna ignore the fact that the "luck" is you going creative...

This is actually super fun, I had a world like that years ago and I remember it very fondly, as I spent hundreds of hours there, It was the xbox version and I randomly got only ocean,two tiny islands a mooshroom island and not much else, and it was years ago before oceans were even interesting, I even cured many zombie villagers out of a farm like yours
