I'd like to offer the one and only true capsaicin relief recipe. Facts: Oils stick to one’s Ingestive tissue. Things that remove oil, help remove spice/heat are needed. Four things remove oil/heat. They are: 1. Sugar 2. Alcohol 3. Fats 4. Ice/Cold A drink which contains all of these elements is optimal, as solids cause pain to chew, and gasses are useless. A drink called a Siberian, or: A frozen white Russian. Na Zdorovie (На здоровье) Commrads, Blend Coffee liqueur, vodka, cream, and Ice in a blender. Enjoy freedom from burn! - Van

Truly Infamous it`s actually a waxy substance that sticks inside your mouth. The only things that will effectually wash it off are either a shot of straight booze, or gulping down some oil, though none of those are particularily enjoyable experiments so a frosty russki as Van B suggested might actually work quite well.

I remember having jalapeno plants and taste testing one with a buddy. We used to have jalapenos on pizza, hot dogs, in salads, everything... no problem. When we actually tried our selfgrown jalapeno we were hit by a heatwave from a vulcano or something, they were way hotter than expected. Maybe it was because the plants were right next to our thai chili plants or something, but those jalapenos were the hottest jalapenos we ever had. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.

Y'all really capped out at 357,000 scoville??? Dang, if I knew you guys were doing this I would've mailed you the bag of carolina reapers I bought to torment my friends. Now that would've been fun to watch especially Brian since it's about 1.6 million scoville :D PS, ice cream works great.

Mango lassi works great, so much so that it's a little dangerous. A few years ago I was at an Indian buffet and they had some absolutely wild, ultra-hot scotch bonnet and ghost pepper chutneys. They were delicious, so I ate a large amount of chutney and immediately counteracted the heat with mango lassi. Unfortunately, the next day, the pain was so severe that I had to bite my hand to keep from screaming as it all came out. My rectum spasmed so hard that I tore myself an anal fissure which took months to heal and made me poop streams of blood every time I had to move my bowels.

Random fun fact: The hottest hot sauce in the world, _The Last Dab,_ actually doesn't use extract. The peppers are just that absurdly hot.
@johnrubio
@johnrubio 6 жыл бұрын
Not the hottest by a long shot. It does, however, have the hottest known pepper as an ingredient. I've eaten it a few times, and while it is hot, it's doesn't hit nearly as hard as some of the other stuff I have in my fridge.
@teamcybr8375
@teamcybr8375 6 жыл бұрын
John Rubio There's different kinds of hot. I believe Last Dab has the highest scoville number, but other sauces do hit a lot harder based on other factors.
@johnrubio
@johnrubio 6 жыл бұрын
It doesn't have the highest scoville number. Last Dab is 2.4 Million. Here's a huge list of sauces. It's not a complete list, but shows several hotter sauces: www.scottrobertsweb.com/scoville-scale/

I've heard of pretty much all of these as remedies, yes. Even the petroleum jelly. As strange as it sounds, yes, I've heard of that being used as a remedy. It's absolute BS, doesn't work at all, but it's on the internet for sure. He wasn't bullshitting them intentionally, other people have tried it. The only question is... why?
