My current husband tricked me. Before we started dating, he told me he was catholic, which I naively thought was synonymous with “Christian.” After he forced himself on me, I rushed into marriage to try and “fix” what had happened. I figured out pretty quickly that he wasn’t a Christian… Praise be to God that the sanctity of marriage has made him a nicer person. But I’m still praying for his soul. For those Christians out there who would consider being unequally yoked, just don’t do it. Even if they’re nice and kind. It’s soul-sucking. I feel like there’s always something missing.

@johnnylongshlong3677 self forgiveness is not biblical. By what authority would you forgive yourself? You are not made for you, you have to deny yourself. When someone says I am a Christian, they haven't said anything. I always follow with what do you mean by that? But once you are in marriage, look to God and wait on Him. He knows why He is slow to act from our perspective. Stay blessed

For the first few years, we really clashed about things. I could say nothing without my husband getting upset. However oddly, when my son and I would leave the door for church, he would tell him “learn a lot of good stuff, buddy”. Just this year, he said he is thinking about coming to church with us ❤

reminds me of how my husband and i started our spiritual journey. 5 or so years ago we started feeling how truly evil the world was, and although neither of us were believers at the time, we decided that for our kids sake, we should probably start saying prayers with them at bedtime and use the bible as sort of a moral guide, because we weren't sure about 'god' or 'jesus' but we knew that the basic viewpoints of the bible were correct and that the evil in the world hated it, so we knew there was *something* to it. 3 years from that i became a born again believer. my husband believes but is not born again, i think his pride stops him from seeing his need for a savior. i take the kids to church and he's always interested to see what they're learning, making sure they're paying attention, and trying to offer biblical advice on what he knows when he can.. but this easter my husband, who hates going out in public, decided on his own to come to church with us. it reminds me that i need to remain patient through the baby steps, it's work in his heart that only god can do and i firmly believe that it will be done. the waiting is the hardest part, just keep praying and trusting, do your best to lead by example. it can be hard at times but our god can do the impossible. 3 Likewise, wives, be subject to your own husbands, so that even if some do not obey the word, they may be won without a word by the conduct of their wives, 2 when they see your respectful and pure conduct. 3 Do not let your adorning be external-the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear- 4 but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious.

The fuel to our belief as Christians is our daily encounter(s) with Jesus. It doesn’t matter what anyone says, if you don’t have that encounter for yourself, nothing is going to be real. Nothing anyone says will ever make you believe. So if you want answers, ask Jesus to reveal himself to you.

I am crying, no joke, knowing that I can rejoice with this couple. I was divorced after 14 years of marriage. I cheated, she cheated, I wanted to get right, she didn't. This couple's success is based upon taking Jesus at His Word. It's a choice, a move, a conviction that forgives and concludes that Jesus's Word is worthy to be trusted. I am rejoicing; it's the way to go. Not everyone get's the prize. These guys did.

I would say he is cool to lukewarm. I love God's Word. I can't live without hearing from Jesus. My husband talks about Him sometimes but I don't believe he's ever known Jesus. I was raised in a Christian home. I couldn't raise my children this way. All 3 of my kids now grandkids struggle. It is still painful to this day. There is something holding him back 😢😢 we have had nothing in common . I long for him to fall in love with Jesus

My husband became a Christian 2021 and that was awful. I felt abandoned, unloved, uncared for, lonely not important and unheard. He was feeling the same. I was pregnant and that was very bad news. I would go to church for music and music only. He thought i was going to answer the call but i was not interested. I would go to church, listen to him being a Super Jesus Guy but honestly, ut was boring. Everything became Jesus first, see you later. He was deeply committed to bible meditation and prayer. 2023 July 25th i became one. Unfortunately, we had to loose some family members in our journey but Christ is at work in our life

Then the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Why do You speak to the people in parables?” He replied, “The knowledge of the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. Whoever has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him. This is why I speak to them in parables." ‘Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand.’ In them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled: ‘You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving. For this people’s heart has grown callous; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn, and I would heal them.

@@indriadrayton1132 The key difference is: Do they *want* to be saved? Believe it or not: many will never choose salvation, even while God offers it to them freely, with kindness and love. God desires that not one person perish, yet at the same time, God also gave each individual the *FREE WILL* to choose to be apart from God, if that is truly what they want. God gives us what we really want in the end: to be with Him, or not be with Him; it's up to each individual. No one slips by 'accident' into hell. They choose to be separate from God all on their own.

That's nonsense. Anyone who has actually researched The C for C knows he had no journalistic integrity with those interviews for his book. He was already Evangelized. The problem as I said repeatedly in my own playlist against Strobel is he is a highly acclaimed investigative reporter--or was. And he completely disregarded investigating anything. His lack of journalistic integrity was astounding. His interviewees were largely fundamentalist and his research was from largely fundamentalist books written by those very interviewees which is why I am accusing him of never having been an atheist when he did those interviews. I am researching the claims of those interviewees and it isn't evidence it is speculation and usually bad speculation or flat out untruths. If you research what general consensus of scholars are vs what Strobel's interviewees state you will find quite different opinions. Bascially Strobel's contention was "the fundamentalists said it made sense so it did." He never fact checked or looked for contrary opinions. He offered his own light "what ifs" then just agreed with the counter opinion of the fundamentalist without searching further. And that's the real truth behind his biased book that made him very rich. Cheers, DCF

Well now that you have done the Case for Christ how about doing it for His Truth? Tell me Lee who was Yeshua Hamashiach/Jesus Christ? Was He not the Son of Yahweh/the Word made flesh? Essentially, He was the walking embodiment of the Tanakh in the flesh for ALL TO ACCESS CORRECT? Now given that this as TRUTH WHERE in SCRIPTURE and by SCRIPTURE I am talking about that which was ALREADY WRITTEN AND USED AS AUTHORITY by Yeshua/Jesus, the disciples, and Paul for their Ministries (that is the Tanakh since the “new testament” had yet to be written let alone read by the followers of Yeshua or even “canonized” by the pagan Roman catholic church) OR TAUGHT by Yeshua that the Messiah ben-Joseph would come to “change” the Law of Moses/Yahweh? For I read, “For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one [a]jot or one [b]tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.” Since Heaven and Earth are still here and we are waiting on the day that this should come to pass I am pretty sure that the DOCTRINE OF THE LAW is still in full effect for how we are to LIVE OUR LIVES AFTER our salvation through Yeshua in the way we are to show OUR LOVE to OUR CREATOR for what He has done for us through the sacrifice of Yeshua on the Cross. Also, tell me WHERE IN SCRIPTURE OR TEACHINGS where we are told that the Messiah would be starting a “new religion”? For I read, “Jesus answered them and said, “My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me. 17 If anyone wills to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God or whether I speak on My own authority. 18 He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who seeks the glory of the One who sent Him is true, and no unrighteousness is in Him. 19 Did not Moses give you the law, yet none of you keeps the law? Why do you seek to kill Me?”” So if the DOCTRINE that Yeshua/Jesus taught was NOT HIS but the FATHER’S, which was TORAH, why is it that so many of YOU who claim to “love” Jesus and hold Him as the “head” of your faith follow a CHURCH DOCTRINE? Some churches are MORE PAGAN than others and we know WHICH CHURCH HAS BECOME SO CORRUPTED that it embraces pagan theology into the Word and try to cover their lies by saying that “it is for “Christ”. That just makes me picture a child with chocolate on his face and cookie crumbs all around him and one of his hands in the cookie jar DENYING that he had taken anything. Just is NOT GOING TO FLOAT on the side of TRUTH! Truly, I suggest you read what Paul wrote about how a DIVORCED WOMAN can be prevented from becoming an adultress. I would also recommend that you study what it is meant by the prophecy of the joining of the 2 Olive Branches and how Yeshua's part was played in that. Need to get away from MAN-MADE DOCTRINE and RETURN TO HIS DOCTRINE. We are SAVED BY YESHUA'S WORK ON THE CROSS but our APPRECIATION for that work is reflected in our OBEDIENCE to try and live a life according to Torah. Don't believe me? TEST IT! What does Deuteronomy 13 tell you about if a person walks according to the Word Lee? You got HALF THE STORY NOW FINISH IT!

Bottom line is, there is no evidence that a god exists, so why act as if it's true?

@@EddieSchultz62 "Evidence" is subjective to the individual. You can only claim that, *for you,* there's "not enough evidence" that God exists. Everyone's different. 🙂The same as you basically claim Christians believe strongly enough 'til the delusion becomes "real" to them, I can say you're just as guilty in wishfully believing God *isn't* real, and that you willfully ignore the evidence of His existence because you want to 'live' the way you want, and not be constrained by the moral laws of God. You want the escape from the guilt you'd feel every time you did something that you know is against the law of God. You see, this "wishful thinking" accusation can be pointed your way as well. I've seen a lot of evidence that God exists in my own life but, can I recreate those things for you? No. That doesn't mean those experiences were not real. They were meant for me. God is only interested in the heart of the individual. If you're truly hardened against God deep in your heart, I do believe He will continue to not reveal Himself to you. I've had many experiences with God, and so has my mother. Some experiences that would be verified by an unknowing individual who lived hundreds of miles away at the time. So, nope, not all in her mind, either. No matter what I tell you though, you'll likely look for any excuse to claim it's "all in my mind" or "just a coincidence!" I've been through this quite a few times online with other atheists in our discussions. Nothing new to me! 😉 I do not mind though, I know what I know, and there's no going back from those experiences! Also, the fact that God *must* logically exist is clear to me, anyway (even without personal experiences): It's totally irrational to think that mindless chaos somehow "banged" the *orderly laws of nature* and immensely complex living organisms seen all around us into existence, all for no rational reason whatsoever?😮 Atheism is truly irrational, when one *actually* is honest enough to think it through. 🤔 Take the time to actually question your faitheism and you'll understand why I say what I do. 🙂

@@Rapturo_to_YESHUA I've heard it all before. Atheism is simply a non belief that ANY gods exist, not just the one you chose to believe exists. Just because you feel you have seen enough evidence for a god existing doesn't make it true for everyone else. I've been where you are, so you're not saying anything I haven't heard before. Tell me what is the irrefutable evidence that your god exists? And then tell me that evidence can't mean all the other thousands of gods that man has created in their minds over thousands of years exist?
