In this guide, I walk you through on how to set yourself up for success on a normal game of surviving the aftermath with live commentary on my decisions.
We start the doomsday bunker, we experience some retreating problems with our specialists, a feast, and more!

My last playthrough i only had 1 700 cost fighter, and every new specialist that i was offered was either a scientist or scavenger, so i was struggling with clearing anything on the world map. If it's a 50/50 win, I like to put 2 fighters into it otherwise i find it can really bottleneck the world map expansion, especially if you can't find any decent cogs. I had to bin it in the end partly bc I couldn't get a 2nd fighter but also it wasn't a great town map, i was alway fighting for basic resources so was always behind on buildings, plus I screwed up as I forgot to upgrade my scrapper until day 54 & I only had 1 metal deposit left. Having a full specialist compliment is good but not if they're all the wrong type 😂

Absolutely! What I’ve found out is some specialists, even though they’re not a fighter, can still have great damage output. So be sure to watch out for the specialists who are hybrid specialists. Dragon is a good example of one that is a scout but also has 200% scavenge.

Your videos have been very helpful when starting the game ,1 question about the transformer and the panel for electricity they can it be far away from each other ?

There is a radius that is shown when placing down the transformer. The transformers need to be within each other’s radius to transfer electricity. Same applies to the panels but panels cannot transfer electricity like a transformer meaning it does not produce a radius and thus relies on transformers to transmit energy.
