Good solid up to date start guide. I started by learning by my mistakes. Thanks for some great tips. Expanding the work area! Use specialists to hunt! Already you can tell I'm only a few hours into the game.

For scouting, you can delete your basecamp, and rebuild it near the edge of the fog and it’ll automatically scout the area for you. No resources are used when you rebuild. You can do this over and over until your map is fully visible.

Build a forester before the gate as it will save time waiting on resources and then research the production bonuses as soon as possible so you can basically double resources for the same amount. Also learn happiness techs before hitting 50 pops or they’ll start to get pissed off

Ya any production or farming building near main depo or build storages besdie is key but i like to multi task and be efficient so I like to clear all the trees off were i'm gonna be building first so i can build and not waste trees, then build forester when it becomes to slow do to travel times. That way at start i have extra guys to farm and build other things. Their was a update so i should go look and see what, if anything, new was added.. I'm just annoyed at all these game updates for other games that just have a few tweaks for multi player and bug fixes when i want content.

I meant lumber yard not forester, not too sure if anything news been updated maybe the dlc quest which gives you a radio and new wind turbine. Great video by the way I like big cities so take the production line but probably should go Survival for the 100% crop speed harvest as I tend to have 4 large farms going at once next to some mess halls so I can sell meals for great profit

Thanx, sry for late response. Utube doesn't show replies to replies as new replies lol.. Doesn't make sense to me lol .. But its harder to see them and ill remember to look more often. Ya i liked the 100% crop speed harvest it was very handy with all the bad events that destroy crops.

I have a update vid for it but a full thing on society if you mean the bonus the alliances give would be hard to show cuz they added quite a few and their random each game so even if you get same city 2 times the bonus they have can be different. Basically means since its random and theirs no control, you get what you get so worrying about what's best isn't gonna matter. But ya it could be helpful to see them all and rate them so you can see what you might be able to get and prioritize, but it could take 10 new games or more to get them all to show them like that. Its not really feasible. If you mean the tech part and which stuff to research for the new tree the update vid covers that along with what buildings is best to build in other cities.

Thanx SlippedGear.. I found the vid and looks like i didn't even have it renamed after recording it or posted.. Doing it now. Must have gotten side tracked with the eternal winter or i didn't like Vid and wanted to redo it but got distracted.
