If you can hang the hammock from trees rather than ceiling you can have it a little more flat…then you can lay diagonal in them and the hammock basically lets you flatten out a bit rather than feet being so high.

26:08 firstly i think those hammocks are for the jungle to stop insects getting in so not really needed in a miners shack... secondly.. there are lots of little hooks - yellow & black.. im pretty sure you are supposed to tie strings to them and peg them either in the ground or tie to branches etc.. to keep the mosquito net taught and away from the hammock so it doesnt touch your skin so insects cannot bite you
