As a kid I really wanted that 350 machine...any suspension was exotic since at the time we had that same KLT you have sitting in the background....ours had no front suspension.

I owned and raced (lived on) my 85 350x as a youngster. Ran it for 20 years until kids were on the way and sold this bike, boat and sled just because I had no more time for them unfortunately. Wish I had kept this bike now however. And btw, that headlight protector is not stock or from the factory, it was offered and sold on this bike by the dealer after delivery. Everything else on it appears correct. The only thing I’d question is the exhaust pipe guard as it looked different but with how this overall bike appears, I’d obviously say it’s correct.

I truly loved Honda atc’s. I’ll never forget the day my dad came home with the ‘84 big red. The 350x has always been my favourite.

My favorite as well. They were produced for such a short period and have so many features unique to that model only. Plenty of predictable power and super reliable. I love all 3 wheelers but this one takes the cake.

Thanks! Those small details are often overlooked but are so important for a correct road map for what actually makes a factory-correct ATC. Without official standards like a Marty Report (Ford) or similar, we need to maintain a standard somehow. Holding that line & standard is part of my goal here at MacWorth Vintage. Thank you for helping maintain that standard with all your great videos!

I could of bought one in 2005 for 1500 bucks. Should have since what they are selling for in todays market. Bought an 86 250r in mint condition out of Pennsylvania in 2001. Still have it and ride it.

Excellent find! I’m glad to see that someone who appreciates it for its history and what it is ended up with it. Recently I’ve been watching a clown in my neighborhood tear around on an ATC250SX that looks like an ‘85. Shame to see it getting beaten to hell by a guy who cares nothing about its history and vintage. I’m not big into 3-wheelers (I had an ‘84 Quadrunner 185) but I grew up around them and rode with my friends who had them. It’s always so amazing to see a machine in the 80’s in like new condition and relish the memories.

Thanks, Alaska Guy! Yes, I've witnessed similar situations. There seems to be equal parts of people who like to see these machines get used as they were intended, and just as many others who want to preserve them as a piece of history. To each their own, I'm certainly in the latter category. Once they are gone, they are gone.

Very nice. The 350x is one of the few performance 3-wheelers I don't have from the 80s--it's on the list though. That one would be too nice to ride.
@MacWorthVintageATVs

Thank you! Yes the tires and fenders alone would make this one hard to ride as those original Pro Vectors are near impossible to find replacements for. It has officially become 'art'.

Absolutely stunning my opinion is lightly wash it , just so it's clean enough to show that you haven't touched it up or are hiding anything and the yellow, "this fastener is tight," dabs of paint show

I agree I like the 85 better. When I went looking for a 350x I wanted a 85. Red white & blue looks so good. I did end up buying a 86 350x also but I still like the 85 look better. People think I’m crazy for wanting a 85 over a 86. I even like the 85 R better then the 86
