She’s not a great player but I think she deserves a second chance. Being voted out because someone drew a shot in the dark, should be automatic consideration for second chance ballot

The contrast between all the players looking extremely excited and thrilled and J looking absolutely, completely miserable was so big that it actually is funny lol. She had to have been absolutely devastated, I hope/think she can think it’s funny now

Crazy thing part is is that it Kaleb got voted out EMILY woulda been the last one standing from og lulu after almost being first boot but got bailed out from a quit…crazy tot think about

Well that was a tribal for the ages……..when Jeff said “it’s time to vote” and there was 14 minutes left in the episode run time, I thought oh sht something wild is about to go down. Reading votes don’t take 14 minutes

I’m also glad she was there. Definitely had potential to be a Parvati type, super smart and polarizing. Great job j sorry it ended like that

Honestly what was Reba’s problem with J 😭 She did nothing wrong and was loyal, it’s a recurring pattern for Asian women in this game to be perceived as cutthroat and strategic. **Im not implying racism, I’m just solely talking about how implicit bias and stereotypes impact the game

wow, that's a bit much dude. the issue they had with j was that she was someone who was willing to flip on them. and you know what? they were right. we saw it when she tried to get sifu out on the sean vote, and again with the amulets, where she was willing to put another target on austin to get an advantage for herself. j was just a threat to them and they had to get her out. plus the vote was for kaleb at first, so j wasn't the intended target, but you always gotta have a plan B. everything that happened was pure strategy by reba. nothing more, nothing less

i’m not a fan when race is brought into it when it has nothing to do with it but i agree with you there was nothing wrong she did outside of a few questionable choices and reba had no good reason to vote for her

i'm definitely confused with why ALL of reba was so obsessed with j. maya leaving, but i'm also glad they did not just defer to emily as emily i think can truly go the distance. sad to see j. leave, especially under these really unfortunate circumstances.

I think J's weakness is that she never had any truly strong alliance partners in the game. She was on the bottom of original Reba and never improved her position even after the swap happened. Neither D nor Julie wanted to work with her as anything more than a number, so that is on J for not being able to make strong enough connections that people wanted to keep her. The fact that the entire tribe was willing to vote her says something about her own flaws.

J's game flunked as soon as Sean quit. We know she really wanted to be strong with him, never ended up happening. Everyone else had their strong allied and she missed out because Sean quit. Unfortunate. @@multiplemike5021

This was such a crazy tribal but I was so sad J Maya was the victim of this. I guess this makes J Maya the first person to get shot in the darked out of the game.

One of the best tribal councils in the shows history for me. I loved the suspense of it and the fact that the episode made it convincing that either Kaleb or Jay could go home so I was on the edge of my seat. I absolutely love the partnership between Kaleb and Emily. I love that she helped him by nudging him to play the shot in the dark and what a moment for Kaleb when it worked. I don't know if he can survive to the end because the target on his back is too great. He is a social and physical threat. Still I also think Bruce is playing himself into a corner. He is too stubborn in his strategy. He wants everyone to do what he says but that is just making him enemies. I see Bruce getting blindsided soon. I also think that Jake is going to betray Bello and create his own power alliance in the game. He was teased saying that he needs to take control of the game. Big moves are coming. I love this season and I hope the Emily/Kaleb survive to the end, but I don't know. Next episode will be big fireworks as the Reba Bello war launches.

Many ppl are saying that J did not deserve to go home as she's a great player who "flipped all votes onto Kaleb", and I respectfully disagree. Prior to this point, J showed zero noteworthy gameplay and played as passive as passivity goes. Her tribe carried her to this point, as both Sifu and she were seen on the outs in multiple instances due to their lack of social gameplay at the height of Reba. It's less of "she singlehandedly flipped all the votes on Kaleb", and more of a consensus of the "Kaleb is just too big of a threat" mindset. He is literally suffering from success at this point. Glad to see the more strategic individual and better social player survived. Also it's important to note that Emily's decision to vote for Kaleb was not out of betrayal but common sense, since if she were to be the odd man out voting for J & Kaleb's shot in the dark failed, there's no coming back for her as she mind as well paint a giant target on her forehead that says "I'm with Kaleb all the way send me next". Only when the revote happened, was she able to vote for her true intention J, as Kaleb is now safe & protected.

I know the players don’t have perfect information we do. But why didn’t Belo try to bring in J to target Reba? If Belo and Reba are going to war, and Reba is targeting J, it’s so easy to bring in J as a number. Belo plus J could vote for D this round to take out a core Reba member

i think this tribal can be described in four letters. OMFG!!!!!! that was beyond crazy man. great move by kaleb for sure. even though he's made himself a huge flying target now, but at least he survives another day. and it also worked out for austin because he got rid of one amulet, and got redemption for losing his sandwich. i think with how things are going, the reba alliance is going to run this show, and i'm looking foward to that

Be careful about that. The Reba alliance is getting too cocky I think. Watch out as Jake launches a counter attack next episode. I think he is going to do something to flip the game in his favor and take control.

@@multiplemike5021 sadly Bruce and Katurah are liabilities as players, in terms of their hate towards each other and Bruce not playing smart. Also, Kaleb already leaked to Reba about Bruce's idol so I think it would also be safe for Emily and Kaleb to go with Reba seeing fractures in Belo and knowing Bruce trew Kaleb under the bus first. Probably next several votes will be Belo going home with maybe only Kellie/Katurah surviving

I don’t think so. Kellie has plenty of allies, has not burned bridges with anyone yet, and Bruce and Kaleb could be eliminated next way before Kellie because of Bruce’s bossiness and Kaleb’s high threat level.

I feel so bad that J. Maya got voted out before the merge. My backup would have been Dee if I wanted a Reba tribe member out. But at least my last pre-season pick made the merge. That in itself is a relief.

@@Aidan3035. i'm not saying i'm upset with that decision, in fact that's the only good thing emily has done so far, but the difference is that drew and austin hold a lot more power than brando did. and belo has a lot more cracks than reba does (mostly because of bruce). and the fact that austin is slowly gaining more power with each vote is only going to make it harder to get rid of them in the future. that's the mistake emily made, and it's going to haunt her at some point

If that’s how you feel, then watch something else. Kaleb is not winning. He’s already been pegged as huge social and physical threat. And he doesn’t have followers to make moves. He needs to go on immunity run like Ozzy, Joe, or Mike to go deep now and I don’t see it.

@@lurkinginshadows1141 I almost feel like with how hyperaware everyone is in regards him to being such a threat that his level should plummet a bit. Yeah he's dangerous individually but a player that everyone knows cant reach FTC and with no solid allies can be useful for a lot of people. Huge social and physical threat but its rare that the player everyone knows is dangerous is the most dangerous. Austin may end up with 2 idols soon for crying out loud
