30:26 i actually didn't even think of that. there's no way the best move for 12 people is to dogpile 1 person. you can't say kaleb was so threatening because he was charming, because everyone wanted to get him out immediately. that means he's getting chopped down at any point, all you accomplish by sending him home is losing a number you could have used to eliminate an actual threat

If you want a returning cast of 20 strategists playing like superfans, that's on you. Sounds like a miserable season to watch.

Jake is literally one of the best characters in new era. He was the definition of a relatable underdog, fan favorite, had great confessionals, one liners, was willing to play a risky game - which makes for exciting tv - and also had solid reads (even though he couldn't execute but tbh his tribe self destroyed and handed Reba the money). He should definitely be a lock for the next returnee season, we don't need a season full of gamebots.

I actually think both Jake and Katurah are strategists if they played from the top. It’s almost impossible to win strategically from the bottom.

he couldn't catch a break? more like he couldn't come up with or execute any good moves. Seems like he just wasn't persuasive enough and couldn't get anyone to back him up strategically--ironic for a lawyer.

overall the belo players as well as the dumb merge tribe split hurt jake's game a lot. without those reba probably doesn't do nearly as well.

He obviously couldn't catch a break since the Kaleb vote. Jake understands now his mistakes about fostering relationships BUT he was being lied to (which he knew to be fact) since the first days (which how in the world is that solely your fault since the girls clicked up) and gaslit after the mergeatory for countless votes. He still tried to work on their perception by talking with them but come on.. working with people lying to you on your tribe in the first 3 days and having a strong opposing alliance scooping up multiple 5th and 6th wheels from your tribe and Lulu (Emily). I'm not saying he isn't at fault for some things but that much Belo disarray going on and opposing forces plans isn't his fault. So getting a break is a break from those things imo. BUT both of those things were in full force. To add, I'm glad he took the route of not fighting to be one of Reba's minions. At the end of the day, I watch Survivor for entertainment and he's entertaining. So perhaps I'm biased though a realist.😊

He didn't have the best social game, but he had solid reads. It's a shame his tribe self destroyed and were too blind to see the bigger picture. Players like Katurah and Emily refused to see they had no chance against Reba 4.
