My problem with the Maria vote is how cold it was, she expressed no empathy toward Charlie or recognition of his game or their alliance.

I was sooooo shocked by Maria's vote. How did she go from wanting to get Charlie out because he was a threat to win... to not voting for him? Great recap, as always!

7:03 I’ve seen a lot of people pissed about this, but I honestly loved it! It was really exciting to watch, and such a smart and bold move! Liz did what Jeff has talked about: ask him for forgiveness, not permission. If you ask him for permission and he has to make a quick decision during a challenge, he’ll probably say no. If people are mad about this move they should be mad at Jeff/production for not stepping in, not Liz and/or Kenzie for trying their hardest to beat the biggest threat. 🤷‍♀️ I personally think Maria should’ve done a better job managing her threat level if she didn’t want to have to rely on winning immunity.

This cast was very unique in that they all wanted credit for moves and didn't recognize how others contributed to those moves, which meant that people with big moves were immediately voted out and that meant to survive you needed to go underground. With so many huge egos on board those egos weren't willing to acknowledge other people's accomplishments, which to me meant if you wanted their vote you had to give them the credit. This is why I think Charlie's points weren't swaying votes... in most other season Charlie would be the clear winner bit this season the jury seemed to take offense if you took credit for a move and subtle moves were invisible and not taken seriously. For a traditionalist this seasons outcome would behave been infuriating but for those that enjoy when something different happens it was a delightful. Personally I'm torn because Charlie is both a lovable player and a great Survivor strategist and I also enjoy when a purely social game is recognized (because it's usually the physical and domineering players that get the bulk of the credit) so I can't decide if I love that Kenzie won or if I wish Charlie won. I'm just glad it wasn't Q or Liz, while they were entertaining they were also aggravating with their entitlement.

Yes Kenzie gave the best answer for why she wanted the money. She deserved it, but I'm surprised at Maria not voting for Charlie. Kind of a turn coat if you ask me. But in the end the right person won

Great Season with a kind of a dud Finale. Thank You Both for you excellent analysis!!!, it makes the game better, feels like chatting with friends who enjoy it as much as I do.

After last night’s finale it really hit me why I dislike the new era Survivor. Probably not a popular opinion but I really can’t take the niceness as people are being voted out. I really can’t take all of the crying and breakdowns we have to endure now. I really wish we could go back to the days of villainous players and bitter juries. Probably not as nice for the world but it made for way better television.

The new era now has 4/6 women winners which makes me very pleased. The previous 15 seasons before season 41 only had 3 women winners. Just curious if anyone has thoughts on what has made the difference in the new era.

Maria answer why she didn`t vote for Charlie was stupid. If she wants to be bitter, take it out on Liz or Kenzie, they work together to get her out, she didn`t even work with them, but to take it out on Charlie, because he got her before she got him out, Charlie is a class act, I can`t say the same for Maria. Bitter women.

Kensie is lovely, but Charlie was robbed by poor final TC performance and a bitter jury member.

Tbh kenzie and ben did not deserve to be in the final tribal. They suck at challenges and Liz had to help Kenzie to get rid of Maria just to fail on making fire. Undeserving final 4 besides Charlie.
