On my rewatch I was very impressed by Kelly Remington she was a strong player who could have made it to the end and possibly one if not for the idol play. I would love her to get on the ballot.

7:55 good point. I think this cast would be seen as somewhat "historic" if it aired close to the beginning of the show. It seems now that this was normal in 2015, but I think the issue is that people didn't really enjoy that back then, but it happened all the time and it just wouldn't happen now

Before watching, my guess is Mike, Mama C, and Jenn

I never went back and rewatched it or anything, but I do remember liking this season. My memory of it is that Mike was the underdog and he prevailed against all the odds, and I felt like the production made it a sort of heroes vs villains edit and I was super happy he won. Or maybe I just liked Mike and wanted him to prevail. He was good tv.

Yes, what the show did to Dan in the reunion was brutal, but it wasn't personal against him. They wanted to make an example of him to all future players - "If you're going to complain publicly about your edit, don't lie about what you actually did on the island. We have the footage. We can destroy you if we choose to."

Dan says on the show that he had been applying to be on the show since season 2 (?), and I think he says he applied every year. Dan's character on the season showed us that casting turned him down all those times for a reason - I think they finally put him on the show just so that he'd stop applying.

unpopular opinion: i loved this season and most of this cast because it had such a feeling of an old iconic season in a modern 2015. great challenges post merge especially and the last normal auction .
