It wasn't blindside the producers rigged it so that rudy would stay (they needet older contender because of the viewers) she endet up suing them and they paid her :).

CRAZY Survivor Fanatic Well, basically what happened is she found out that cbs was favoring some of the contestants and they were giving them some extra food and utilities so they could last longer. So she sued cbs. Then she got a lot of hate 😕

@@cat-mh2wp She alleged that the producers influenced Dirk and Sean to switch their votes from Rudy to Stacey. Production was worried that the third older player would be voted out in a row after Sonja and BB, and Survivor would lose their older demographic. Dirk affirmed the influence, but Sean denied it. Ultimately they settled out of court.

@Josh Kolbo Like he's less friendly, I've seen only clips of the newer season so far, and just from that I can feel that "nice guy host" energy has vanished.

Rudy turned into one of the more popular players as time went on, keeping him in the game helped keep ratings up so CBS made more money. Irrelevant of what actually happened don’t think Stacey would have lasted more than another vote or 2. In the meantime CBS reaped the rewards of increased ratings of the older demographic.

Anything can happen for all we know Stacey could have turned it around and managed to help her team win the next challenge and become the fallen angel of the season instead of Rudy we will never know

If you would watch her lawsuit the producers intervened and wanted her voted off instead of Rudi since they didn't want to lose their older demographic. She has a good reason to be pissed
