Survivorman - Les Stroud

Survivorman - Les Stroud

3 жыл бұрын

Things get weird when Les tracks Bigfoot in the smoky mountains of Tennessee.
Hiking far off the beaten path, Les searches remote forested land deep in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains with Scott Carpenter, a local researcher claiming to have interactions with Bigfoot in the area. Scott’s theories leave Les feeling jumpy. Or maybe that’s the black bears. There are more than 1,500 black bears that live in these mountains. Les knows that where bears thrive, humans can survive, too. But, is it possible that something else could be surviving in the unknown wild? A higher intelligence? Something that doesn’t want to be found? Battling his own psyche, Les enters the Bigfoot hot spot, planting hidden cameras and scent traps, in an effort to elicit an interaction, seeking irrefutable proof. But the longer Les hunts for Sasquatch, the weirder things get.
Directed By Les Stroud
Starring Les Stroud, Scott Carpenter

Wanted to come here & spend some time with Scott. I'm so thankful he shared his thoughts & theories about them being Nephilim. Many people agree including me. Scott is definitely unique & irreplaceable. He freely helped many people including myself & my family. When I told my husband that Scott had passed he sincerely & very sadly said "who are we gonna talk to now"? He has left a massive void in the Sasquatch community & will be greatly missed. Until we meet again Scott, "Happy Trails".

Personally I think Les makes the most convincing and ponderous Sasquatch documentaries there is. If anyone’s going to prove the existence of large Primates in North America on a tv show it’s going to be him! I absolutely love these documentaries so damn much, makes me actually think and wonder about these things instead of just dismissing them. He is one of the biggest voices of reason in this field! If he actually caught something unexplained on camera or sound recording I wouldn’t doubt it even for a second. He’s truly an honest guy who’s trying to find real awnsers.

It's one of the reasons I liked Expedition Unknown and Destination Truth. Josh Gates is a skeptic. Obviously an entertainer and host and they do make it a bit more hoakey but at the same time, he doesn't believe stuff and goes in a skeptic and would call things out when he saw flaws in the evidence or footage or whatever. So I always appreciate Skeptic led documentaries and such because it's more grounded.

Mainstream News or TV shows and personalities won't be the ones catching, airing, exposing or breaking a 100% believable or verified Sasquatch encounter. My dad once told me, "if you look for it, you'll find it." he was talking about negativity and positivity. but if you go into the woods looking for a strange, undiscovered creature, that's the evidence you'll find even if it's vague and unreliable. meanwhile this guy is looking for evidence of "something." and he's finding it.

Absolutely. I live in north Alabama in the midst of extremely large areas of forest. A few years ago the forest service plowed up more than a half mile of logging road attempting to plow up bigfoot tracks. They missed one and I have a picture of it. I also have been growled at,howled at, screamed at,whistled at, been bluff charged in the dark and had stuff thrown at me. I have had experiences that no one would believe. Rest assured they are real. I wish I knew what they are and where they come from.

I thru hiked the AT in the summer of 2021. During a night hike with one other hiker at roughly 2 am we were 3 miles from the TN/VA state line. Completely dark except for our headlamps. No moon light. We spooked something 8' to the left of the trail. It made sounds that neither of us have ever heard in our lives. Best I can describe is it sounded like a language but maybe a forgotten language. But it sounded almost mechanical or made from a computer. I've been searching every video I can find with vocalizations. This is very similar to the noise we heard at around the 4:30 mark.. We were clearly scared and didn't stop till we hit the state line and that was only for one minute to get a picture. Basically ran all the way to Damascus.

Hello. I'm not sure who from Les Stroud's crew will see this, but I hope they will. I'm not sure what Season it was but Les actually filmed a Bigfoot or something Bi-pedal moving across the trail behind where he and Todd Standing just left. I first saw it when the Episode first aired years ago, but found it again on KZfaq. The Title is: "Survivorman Bigfoot | Episode 1 | Alberta | Les Stroud | Todd Standing" The context: Les and Todd had just heard and reacted to a whoop sound to their left. After a brief pause and acknowledgement they moved on down the trail. While Les is narrating the camera picks up an image moving from right to left behind him over his right shoulder. Time in the video is 24:10 thur 24: 26. The exact moment is 24:21. Hopefully some viewers will look this up as well.

It does exist but it doesn’t need our protection. Don’t you think they have been doing a pretty good job of staying away from us? If anything we need protection from them and there needs to be some kind of acknowledgment so people can take the proper precautions when going out in the woods or state forests. I think it’s funny how some people still think they are some dumb ape gorilla monkey etc walking around the woods. The only thing we know for sure about them is they are half human on the mothers side and an unknown on the fathers side. I guarantee The Who what where and when about Bigfoot is stranger then we could possibly imagine

Why would you think that they need protection? Like I said in my other post if anything we need protection from them. They are doing just fine without our help or interference. It’s a crime that the government doesn’t give people guidelines or some kind of information that would help people have protection from them when going hiking or whatever it is people do in state and national forests. Of course they know they exist and I think it’s like the ufo issue as to why they don’t admit of their existence. Although they have been slowly but surely admitting that ufos are real. It’s because they don’t know what they are and they can’t do anything about them. The government doesn’t like admitting they don’t have control over something.

Les, I'm only up to this episode so maybe you get to this later on... But you should play your harmonica wherever you go where you wonder if there might be yetis... Then leave five (+) boxed/weatherproof harmonicas plus diagrammes of how to play them in each box, arranged as gifts like Scott does. No cameras/etc, just gifts of harmonicas. Check back on them later. Maybe eventually something will take some harmonicas. When that day comes, whenever people hear a harmonica playing the blues while camping nearby, they'll know either you're there; or the Sasquatches Les Stroud taught to play the blues are there... 😄 (I really hope you try this in a later episode in this series; can't wait to see!)

When I was a kid growing up in the mountains of East Tennessee, I heard stores about the Whistlin' Jack, which was supposed to be a creature that looked something like a big monkey with a wolf's head and tail. It could walk upright, but more like an ape than a man, it could run on all fours, and it could climb trees. I suppose it probably resembled a baboon more than anything. From what I can gather, the story is old but obscure, and nobody really knows its origin, but only people who spent a lot of time in the mountains talked about it.

If you could play it back frame by frame, it is a juvenile sasquatch that stands up and runs behind foliage and disappears. I'm sorry that I can't remember the researcher that points it out originally. He was an Latino actor and researcher on breaking bad. Jesus (something), Anyway he shows frame by frame on a large screen. I think it is 15 frames. But, you can see it's arms swinging as it runs. At .25 speed. It does kinda look like debris. But frame by frame shows way more detail. Try to find the researchers video.

Mr.Carpenters audio he recorded at 3:50 sounds similar to a jake yelp however a little raspy. I have heard similar sounds turkey hunting a few times over the years however I always chalked them up as a raspy/unique turkey call. I want to be completely clear I do not know if those sounds are turkeys or any known animal. This Sasquatch series on Les channel has really opened my eyes to dozens of small abnormal things/event’s me and some of my hunting buddy’s have encountered on hundreds of nights spent on south eastern public land. I have never thought of Sasquatch as a possible answer to these event’s possibly because of the culture around it, I live in the south east US, and I have never seen anyone credible discuss Bigfoot until I stumbled across this playlist. I grew up in East Tennessee on the heart of the Appalachian mountains and right next to the Great Smokey mountains. If you really want a chance at seeing one of theses creatures you have to get off grid for sure & try the areas around Mt. Mitchell & Grandfather mountain.

Ditch the buddy and camera and phone and sit in the back yard and be patient. No lights trail camera etc. They know if you are trying to trick them. They are much smarter than we are. Once you are comfortable with these beings, prepare to have everything you think you know be completely gone.

I'd take you to our "hot spots" - we have over a dozen places in Oregon where we've had potenial and/or probable bigfoot activity. We've seen three - two on FLIR at night, and one in broad daylight but from 100 yards. We are out there nearly every weekend exploring our gorgeous woods and this fascinating mystery. You're totally invited to come along.

One of the creepiest times I ever had in the woods I was bow hunting, I was 12 or 14, and it was about time to climb down when I started hearing footsteps coming towards, multiple sets in multiple directions. Well, I figured it was deer so I waited and listened as 4 or 5 sets of footsteps came closer and closer all around me even the past the point I should clearly see whatever is making the noise. By the time the footsteps had walked within 20 feet of my tree stand I was convinced it must be ghosts, then I finally realized I could make out a tiny little woodcock walking below me lol. I was extremely creeped out before I realized it was something totally normal that just happened to show up at the right time .

I had a similar experience getting freaked out once upon a time. There were campers out of sight of me but within hearing distance. As I lay in the back of my car in my sleeping bag, it sounded for all the world like someone walking in my general direction. I strained to listen closer and it sounded like they were walking faster...and then faster. I was getting totally freaked until I "finally" realized I was hearing my own heartbeat.

I was thinking the same thing. He doesn’t really disturb anything so they just leave him be. I feel if he made a mess or started cutting down trees they would be like “ yo bro don’t be messing with my home”. I’m not saying burn down the forest but do some damage and maybe they will react!
