Mike Boucher Same here. I was rooting for Russell and I was pissed when they threw a challenge to get rid of him. I grinned every time one of those Zapatera people got voted off. Though I would have preferred to see Russell win, I was very happy to see Rob finally get his victory.

Besides, Krista, Stephanie and Russell were likely to flip at the merge, so even if Ometepe had lost every pre-merge challenge, the best that Zapatera could have hoped for was a tie. I honestly think Zapatera was screwed from the get-go.

Jordan M Zapatera should have been applauded for voting out Russell. Russell game plan in his previous season made him untrustworthy and not worthy to play with. They made right decision. At least Zapatera wanted to make this season their own instead of Ometepe tribe that got played by Boston Rob like puppets.

Throwing challenge is always risky movie in Survivor i can agree on that. It didn't pan out for Zapatera but they really got demolish because Boston Rob used his experience and dominance over his tribe and used them as tool to finally win Survivor.

Hardly. Nobody had any interest in voting him out until the Final 4 since he was one of the easiest jury opponent. Rob, Ashley, Natalie, and Phillip were the 4 easiest jury opponents in the whole game, and of course as a result those were the final 4. The only time he had to win immunity, arguably, was the final 4. He was never a target before then since way bigger jury threats- Grant, Matt, Andrea, all the Zaps were still in the game. And then whoever won the final immunity between Rob and Ashley would win the game by default as the 3rd/4th biggest goat over the 2 biggest goats in history Natalie and Phillip who couldnt even beat a poop stick, while the other would certainly be voted out. Which was Rob by an inch, otherwise it is Rob voted out and Ashley (despite that like Rob she would have lost to all 8 who were voted out before them) winning 9-0-0 as opposed to Rob's 8-1-0.

Natalie couldnt have won the game against anyone. She couldnt even win a Final 2 with Phillip. So there was no benefit for her to vote off Rob. Ashley and Andrea hated each other so never wanted to work together.

Natalie and Ashley were never winning the game against anyone. Ashley would easily win a F3 with Natalie and Phillip only, but since Ashley and Phillip hate each other that wouldnt be the F3 even if Rob was gone. Grant, any RI returnee, and probably even Andrea beats any of those 3 others, so Ashley or Natalie was never winning the game.

Ashley had immunity and Rob had an immunity idol he was certain to play as it was his last night, so neither could be voted out that night. No, no, no. Russell was never going to win. First of all Ometepe didnt like Russell that much. Grant proabbly takes control of Ometepe which he would have done with Rob there instead if it wasnt for his ridiculous mancrush on Rob, which he never had with Russell. Secondly lets say you are right and Russell does take charge of Ometepe. Russell would have to go to the end with Phillip and Natalie to win the game. Rob could only beat Phillip and Natalie, nobody else, so for sure Russell who is even less likeable and worse at jury management than Rob could only beat them. You know Russell wouldlnt bring Phillip and Natalie to the end since he NEVER brings the right people to the end. He would instead bring someone like Grant and get 0 votes. So no Russell was never winning, dont delude yourself.

Russell couldnt win a jury vote against everyone. He probably even loses in a Final 3 with Phillip and Natalie (Phillip probably wins that one). So no he was never winning even on Ometepe. Russell is also so stupid he never chooses Phillip and Natalie to go to the end with.

Russell was never winning. 1. He is probably voted off early just like he was on Zapatera, for being an ass. He isnt a leader or challenge asset like Rob so his usefullness would be short lived. 2. Even if he makes FTC he never gets the votes to win. Didnt you learn anything from his first 2 seasons. 3. The only way he wins at FTC is if he takes Natalie and Phillip just like Rob did, but Russell never takes the right people to the end and would not again. He probably takes someone like Grant and loses badly. Again did you not learn anything from Russell's first 2 seasons.

In all fairness Natalie could've proved herself this season playing bad one time doesn't mean anything tbh she could've made bigger moves for 31 bc she knows how to play the game by now. She had a lot to prove but fans always judge by first appearance

@beybladearsenal2897 tbf that's exactly how to deal with returnees(nothing on the returnees just strategy) Most returnees come out of challenge wins which means they're great at challenges and could individual immunity their way to the ftc while making an alliance to potentially take you out, so taking them out before they get enough chances to destroy your game like Chris in EoE is key.

Well even if Rob is voted off, Natalie or Philip don't win. Whoever sits with them (if they are still in the finals) automatically wins, no matter who it is. I disagree on one thing. Redemption Island is easily the worst season ever.
