I have Sun, Mars, Mercury (Retrograde), Jupiter and Venus (Retrograde) in 5th House (Leo). Rightly pointed out - Mantra Upasna has always attracted me and I do my set of Japa Practice. I love the trio of Shiva, Devi and Maha Vishnu :) . I haven't really been able to put a concrete finger on an Ishta Devata but I feel strongest pull towards Shiva and Devi. Given Mars presence - I have observed that respect comes and goes and there have been moments (even a very recent one) where respect is not given despite having done good and supported the friend - and this clash happened SUDDENLY on one fine day out of the blue. My digestion seems to be good but I guess presence of other planets also makes it sluggish if I don't take care. I am Leo asendent saturn in 5th house(Sagittarius) sun and Venus in 9th house (aris) and Jupiter and Mercury in 10th house (Taurus). As you said native with saturn in 5th house will have no love affairs is true though I have 5th and 7 house relation. 7th lord Saturn is in 5th. I do not watch same movie again and again.
