To see Susanna's first interview:
• Susanna Lost 60 Pounds...
I was a healthy child and teen but as a newlywed, the pounds first started to pack on when my husband was diagnosed with testicular cancer.
We were able to begin our family after his surgery and with each successive pregnancy and multiple miscarriages, I gained more and more weight, maxing out at 258.8 at 5’11” and a 36.6 BMI.
I started eating a sloppy plant based diet in March 2020 and used the time at home during the pandemic to learn a new way of cooking and eating. I lost 15 pounds in that first year.
In February 2021, I found serendipitously found Chef AJ’s Truth About Weightloss Summit and I haven’t looked back! I’m down 72 pounds now and am hovering at a 25 BMI. I’ve gone from a 2XL/size 18 to a Medium/size 8!
At age 56, I continue to be amazed every day when I wake up feeling healthy and happy and ready to face the day with a vitality that I never thought I’d see again. I feel like I’m in my 20s, thanks to Chef AJ and all her wonderful courses and guests who have taught me so much!
I spend my days caring for my almost grown family, cooking delicious food, cycling, reading, praying, learning, laughing, listening, and co-moderating Chef AJ’s KZfaq Live shows!

Susanna, you are amazing!!! Your story is my story (except I haven't yet lost all my weight!!!). I am a homeschooling mama of 8 (ages 27-14 ~ 5 boys, 3 girls), I had a pilon fracture in 2018 and spent six months on the couch (non-weight bearing) which caused me to gain so much weight and I am TRYING to get my act together so I can be a success story like you!!! Thank you for this interview and your inspiration!!!

Lovely to see Susanna on your show again Chef AJ. I saw a recent pic of her with Esther at your getaway…. What a lovely gentle lady she is…a true inspiration…..I would sign up for her support if she did it…maybe I could be a Guinea pig to she if she likes coaching!

I love this interview-I remember Susanna’s past interview! Our family of four has been eating WFPB for 14 years, and I’ve just started sharing videos on my KZfaq channel about how we keep things sustainable for us. For me, simplicity is really key. Veggies and potatoes cooked in my instapot are daily staples.

I just love you, Susanna. You are lovely, beautiful inside and outside, authentic, and enjoyable to watch. Your story is interesting and inspiring. I’m so happy for you. After I watched your first interview with Chef AJ, I loved seeing your book collection and starting building my own little library. I also have all of the books you showed us today, except the Bravo books. I’ll check them out. I could see that someday you could maybe coach others on their journey to health, or even write a book! Good for you and your family! Raising healthy kids is one of the most important and difficult things in life. I’m almost 67 and have 2 kids, and 5 grandkids and I’m also very busy. I wish I could redo some things, but we can only move forward. So glad that you got to go to Rancho. My dream is to go on the Holistic Holiday at sea. Hopefully I will in the next year or two. I don’t have anyone that would want to go with me, though. Maybe my husband, we’ll see. Thanks for sharing your experience with us! Thanks Chef AJ and team! ❤

Thank you Chef AJ and Susanna! This was a fantastic show! I bought the bracelet immediately because I love the idea of having the red line front and center with me at all times. Hubby and I just did our blood work for the first time and at 56 yrs old I was shocked. We've tried a few times but now it's time to get real. Thanks for always being here and helping! Cheers! ~Merri

This was a great video - I struggle without confinement - if that makes sense. I did plant based, but that let some eggs and cheese slide in, then WFPB, but I convinced myself nobody does that 100% and would eat donuts on Friday and Pizza once or twice a month. I was so tired to flip flopping and back sliding - I need to lose about 100 pounds and I'm just self-sabotaging with those hyper-palatable foods. About a month ago I decided to just focus on vegan only (donuts and take-out pizza are off the menu for my area anyway) - then a couple of weeks ago WFPB - that seems to have flipped my switch. Yesterday I was running errands and didn't even want a donut - had to pull the car over I was so taken aback - LOL!

I eat raw veggies raw fruit and nuts , after all diets that I tried I learned that cooked food is not helping me loose weight or manage my bp . No carbs , no salts no sugars . All cooked veggies are death without minerals, vitamins and enzymes .
